Barb love the pics Bubba made out like a little bandit.:lmao:

Dallas playing awful .
Jessica must be in the crowd:rotfl2:

i know someone that dated tony.
she wised up and married another dude on the team
smart girl.........

remember back in the olden days when dallas ruled?

Okay, sometimes the pages take FOREVER to load and sometimes they load like normal. What's up? I took me quite awhile just to read the couple of pages you guys did today. Again, what's up? :headache:

So, wait, the Green Bay fans line up super early in an effort to be one of the lucky few that gets to shovel snow? Did I read that right? Wow. I'm a fan and all, but that just sounds... ummm... I wanna say "stupid" without actually saying "stupid"... ummm... let's just say that sounds like something I can't imagine hundreds of people willingly participating in. How's that... :rolleyes1

Barb - Those were some great pictures! It looks like Ryan loved all his gifts and you guys had a great dinner. That's really sweet of you to open your home to the lady without anyone to celebrate with. That's the good stuff. :thumbsup2

Lawrence - Your dog has a "Who, me?" expression on his face. Like he didn't do anything and what are you talking about... the fur under his mouth is supposed to be orange... :lmao:

Sharon - I agree with Barb that you have one brave (or weird) kitty in the hockey pants. Of course, our dog has a love affair with morning breath that we don't understand. She wants to shove her cold wet nose in your mouth first thing in the morning. :crazy2:

Jennifer - It's good to see you around again. I mentioned to Brad on Christmas that the number of years that the boys find it "magical" are SO few. We're trying to enjoy it the best we can.

Janet - I'm with you. I have survived for 41 years on this planet without EVER making a New Year's resolution. People get so tangled up over them. Worry and guilt have never been anything I actively seek out... and resolutions seem to be set up with worry and guilt in mind. :confused3

Raven - It's good to know that someone is keeping the Claxton company in business. Isn't that the outfit that makes most of the fruitcake? I have never tried it. I think I've been brainwashed into believing it must be nasty. Maybe I'll give it a whirl next year. They wouldn't have become a popular holiday thing if a bunch of people didn't like them.

Todd - I'm glad you survived your Saturday at the MK. Sorry you didn't get more time with the family, but you tried. At least you got some good parade pics out of the trip.
And, wait... you are CHEATING ON US with another thread?!?!? I feel so cheap... so used... so second class... :snooty:

Whew! I'm sure I missed somebody, but I tried.

We went to the North Georgia Premium Outlets (about 45 mins away) and got Joshua some shoes and a shirt. Thank goodness that nightmare is over with. We got the shoes at the Stride-Rite outlet, but they were Tommy Hilfiger shoes. :confused3 Anyway, $20 for the shoes, but at this point I would have paid whatever they were asking. Got his shirt at the Ralph Lauren outlet... a lovely yellow  ... for $17. Then we headed across the street to Wal-Mart and bought an AudioVox portable DVD with 8" screen for $99. I think we paid over $200 for our old one, which we bought just over 3 years ago for Joshua's first trip to WDW.

So, my checklist is done... for now... until we remember something else. I must go tackle some laundry or we won't have clean clothes to pack. I just checked the forecast for Nashville. On Thursday and Friday the highs are supposed to be in the mid 40s and lows in the upper 30s. Not as bad as it could be... I guess...

As some of you know, I spent time at the MK yesterday with some cousins who I hadn't seen in three years. I posted a brief trip report with pix on another thread...since it was Disney I didn't want to post it here. Feel free to check it out if you'd like:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1272827&page=610

The report and pix are on post # 9146.

hey homie, i went and read your report.
sounds like you did a lot of waiting around. sorry they got delayed.

hope you were able to have some fun with the cuz before you all took off in different directions.

you take great pictures. they are clear and beautiful
i need to sign up for photography 101......

i'm not familiar with the claxton company.
i'll have to google them.

i used the company out of texas last time.

what day do you head out tricia?

emmitt, before he was dancin' with the stars was a formadible force

i seem to remember some big old dude that was a star up north...think they called him "the fridge"; i remember the shuffle

steelers stinkin up the tv:sad2: ; we're going to get our helmets handed to us in 1st round of playoffs. mark my words, tomlin is going to clean house & get rid of cowher's malcontents...a virus...have i mentioned i'm po'dpopcorn::

barb - hmmm...i did promise my family i wouldn't be shoving my camera in their faces so much:rotfl: ; i was warned not to take any pics of the food on last trip or they'd toss me overboard (not the camera - me). They don't get it, think it's bordering on bizarre behaviour lol.

sharon - your cat is probably bigger than my bad dog & she's probably double what she should weigh (10 pds); doesn't look like she'd take any guff.

now, i remember about todd's family meet, off to check er out

Tricia - Loved the card. Sounds like you & Barb got the cream of the crop.

Lawrence - Be careful. Hope you are feeling all better now. The puppy is a real cutie!

Sharon - Amanda & the kitty are both adorable. Know what you mean about how hard it is when the kids ages are so different. Mine are 24, 22, 16 & 9 so I have been doing this for a long time. The older kids do know that their stuff costs more than Ally's so they don't mind that they get fewer packages. They also know how much it bothers me that they are treated the way they are so they know that I don't show any difference in the. Guess it is just the money difference that bugs me.

Mac - You mean you weren't serious about joining me in Orlando? Dang!

Todd - Gonna hop over and read about your day out.

Janet - So how big a hit did the BB collection take when he got busted? I saw on the DL thread you mentioning how much food was at DL. Is it really that much more? Thought those bags of chips were $2.50 at WDW too. When I priced all the character meals they seemed about the same. Am I missing something?

Barb - Adorable pics. Very sweet of you to include your client. I am sure it makes her holiday much nicer.

Katie - Still thinking about you. Hope the tooth is doing okay.

Thanks everyone for listening to my vent. I'm all better now, just have to be sure to stick to my guns and go out of town from now on.

Yak at you all later!

No that is where he got my DS's soup and since he started DS and DW decided to let him finish it cause they love to spoil him and DW even lets him sleep in our bed and he always takes my side of the bed and won't move I have to move him:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

what day do you head out tricia?

http://www.claxtonfruitcake.com/

We drop Maggie off at the vet bright and early Thursday morning and then head north after that. It'll be 9am or so when we hit the road. Rehearsal isn't until 6pm, so no rush. Wedding ceremony is Friday night. We'll head back home on Saturday.

I'll have tons of pictures of my dressed up little guys to bore you with when I return, I'm sure... so be prepared. You have been warned.

I have this nagging fear that Daniel is going to do something, well, Daniel-ish at the wedding. You know, like fight Joshua over the ring pillow while shouting, "NO! DANIEL'S TURN!" at the top of his lungs. Or throwing it, just because. Or any other of a list of possibilities. With a 2 year old, let's face it, he's a loose cannon. I have reserved the right to pull him from the production if necessary. :scared:

baaaaack,missme:rotfl:

todd, must chime in with mac-very professional pics!

I always get heads in mine. Rarely, do we plop down to stake out a spot to watch them. Few times we have, tend to get obstructed anyway... we're suckers for the "...can my child stand in front of you (accompanied by a tear-stained face on some waif)...it's her 1st (and probably last) time here..." bit;) :lmao: . Next thing you know their entire extended family is breathing down your necks...violating my personal space.:3dglasses

sad to hear the timing didn't work out well for your folk:wizard: next time has got to be better.

lori - i'm sure my Barry's are worthless; they're still in their box in back of closet. I shall chalk it up to one of life's interesting twists and remember the fun I had collecting with my oldest 2 DS. Gave us something to do when I was a single mom; ran around to card shows on weekends.

I never bought a bag of chips @ WDW (don't think i ever noticed them); cannot imagine that a snack size bag would be that much money...unless they mean a larger bag?:confused3 Goofy's dinner buffet is $36+tax; believe Chef Mickeys is $27 or so. Seems as though food/drink is @ least 25 - 30% higher out in LA land. When perusing the menus found lots of mexican food/sandwiches&soup for CS; just a couple places with rotisserre chicken & chicken strips ...evidently, they tend to eat healthier out west (my guys will starve, it's all they eat @ WDW).

The chip bags at WDW are the bigger ones, ya know the ones we pay a $1for at home! One thing I seem to remember is that it isn't as easy to find offsite places to eat aroound the parks. There were a few but nothing like Orlando. I have been told many times that the Blue Bayou is a fabulous place to eat. I have also eaten at a Ralph Brenan's in DTD and it was very good.

Yeah. "I'm seeing other people, but we can still be friends." "It's not you. It's me." "I need some personal growth space." Or something like that. ;) :lmao:

Did you remember dress/dark socks?

Yes, I have 2 pairs per boy of black dress socks. Now, if I can just remember to pack them... :rolleyes1

benadryly does work, especially if you are bit by a spider.
we had to go thru half a bottle on a kid once for that.

you know, it really knocks the kids out quickly when they take a lot of that stuff.

i remember the days of benadryl and duct tape.....fondly.......:rolleyes1

hope you feel better soon st lawrence river way.

Todd - Great pics of the parade. Sorry you didn't get to spend more time with the family. Maybe they will come back soon.
Thanks Lori. They said they would return once the kids get a little older. Then I can take them to Universal too. :yay:
