marci - i think the people @ the gas station were of the "deer in the headlights mode" aka hoping there wouldn't be a "big bang" . a brave woman to let jr drive in the snow, on a highway...i'm still not allowed to drive in it. Saw clip on news about how the Packers sent out an SOS to diehard fans to VOLUNTEER to shovel out the stadium for the game today ; wonder what the union had to say about that lol?

rose - You're going to WDW . youngest DS is slowly segueing out of pokemon; didn't buy the last DS game. I always enjoyed watching the program. Hanging onto the rare Charzard card from 1st series...hoping it'll pay for a college text book . Coming from the person who bought a ton of Barry Bonds cards many moons ago when he was still with the Pirates & I said he'd break the HR record.

mac - not sure if got the address either, must check. Might want to check availability @ HRH. The AAA rate disappeared over Xmas for us ; was hoping to get to try out that Gold upgrade...oh well, maybe it'll pop back up...lots of time to go before Oct.

barb - all your wrapping paper matched, i've never seen such a sight . Always tried to keep the "santa" paper separate from the Ma & Pa stash though jik kids caught it. Great Xmas pics! I always buy toothbrushes too. Even though we got yet another new version of the sonic care toothbrush thru buzz (agent). Anyone else participate; got lots of very pricey goodies to try & report; never able to redeem my points though lol.

By the way the Holidays is the worst time to figure out that you are allergic to some spices in the food you make and its too late and you break out in hives and itchy and watery eyes. not really funny but had to learn the hard way I guess

Sharon - not sure i'd know how the diffuser would work ; fancy. Took forever to figure out the new coffee system @ RPR in Dec.

You just stick the infuser in the mug, add tea leaves, add hot water, steep for a few minutes, remove infuser!

It's usually the alarm clocks at hotels that get me confused!

janet, the packer fans have been doing that for years.
when it snows, the stadium gets the snow and they give a call out for the volunteers to come clean it up.

packers only takes the first 300 people to help and only pay $8 per hour.
you have to get there very very early in order to be one of the lucky ones.
the packers have a big fan base.

Tricia - what a wonderful card. If my hubby would send cards like that, I could do without the other presents.

My mom and my DH both answer "nothing" when you ask what do you want for Christmas. I swear one of these days, I am going to wrap an empty box. For mom - I did the digital photo frame. I think she liked it since I scanned some pics of us kids (now in our 40s) back when we were way way younger. For hubby - I got a nice WVU basketball signed photo from last year's team and got it framed. Also (Janet - are you listening) a Troy Pomulu bobblehead. He has a collection of WVU and Steeler items.

Lori - Yes, our kicker did get some harassing messages on his "myspace" blog as well as his phone and house. Also, apparently his car was slightly damaged by some blithering idiots. He was such a good kicker and he missed 2 short field goals. Since he is from PA, idiots said he missed on purpose so Pitt could win. These idiots give the real fans a bad name.

Ya know... I wouldn't even SIT out in the cold to WATCH a game.....let alone go out there and SHOVEL for it That's okay....someone else can have my $8/hr....not worth it to me

Janet - I also remember when Bonds was with the Pirates. I'm sure DH saw some games with him. He always likes to tell DS Bonds was with the Pirates as DS wasn't around back then.

Janet - I also got DH a Steeler nutcracker and a Steeler Christmas ornament. We have about 4-6 Steeler ornaments on our tree.

We still route for the Steelers whether they win or not. If they don't make the playoffs, that is the end of the season for me. Hubby on the other hand will watch all games. Lucky for him, we now get ESPN classic - just in case he didn't catch some game the first time around.

Barb - I still get character slippers when they can be found. You can always get Homer Simpson or Grinch slippers in adult sizes. (maybe you can get some women's slippers for his size - just don't tell him they are women's)

i received one as a gag gift 3 years ago and ate the entire thing.
family here can't stand FC.

i bought an extra FC to give away for an april fools joke exchange in case we decided to have one.
but i took it with me and ate the whole thing driving to and from st louis.
