News headlines just said that 1 in 3 Oklahomans is without power. How can you say she's fine if she can't chat with her homies here?!

I just read that 600,000 customers are without power. And could be for up to a week. 15 people have died. I hope Lori can find an internet connection somewhere and let us know she is OK.

Just got Daddy Bean off to work/trip to LI. Won't see him again until Thursday night But now that his boss has moved into the PA office, these trips will be few and far between. He was going once a month for quite some time now.....so Fbean is now "man of the house and wearing Jim's spare belt - its too cute He wants to know if he can call me by name or if he still has to say Mom

He sounds so cute! You should post a pic of him wearing the belt. Glad to hear DH will be staying closer to home in the future.

Christmas 2005, Sadie was still a puppy, 7 months old, and decided that the electrical wire for the lights on the tree looked yummy. We were sitting there, the tree lights dimmed and she yelped Needless to say she never tried it again.

The most disgusting thing happened at work yesterday. I hope none of you are eating right now.
This young couple came into the office. I don’t think either of them had bathed since last summer. Their clothes smelled even worse if that’s possible. But that’s not the disgusting part.
The man was standing back to me talking to someone else in the office. I looked up from my desk and saw the most horrifying site. I kid you not. He had his hand down the back of his pants and was scratching to beat the band. He was in up to his elbow. He wasn’t wearing a belt, so his hand pulled down the back of his pants almost to the bottom of his butt. Oh god, it was so soooo bad. It went on for like 30 seconds. I had to leave the room.
So then... he asked to use the bathroom. How can you say no?
They left shortly after. One of us ran down to the grocery store and bought every kind of disinfectant to be had and some rubber gloves. We washed every single surface that these two people had touched. And fumigated the bathroom. And opened the windows.
Guess what?!? Not 2 hours later, they were back again for more information on a piece of property. Here we go all over again with the cleaning!
So far today, no sign of them. I need hazard pay or a gas mask!

Hey everyone.

I got the bank stuff done with minimal fuss. However, about noon, my stomach started hurting. One of those "uh-oh" hurts. By 1:30pm, I was miserable. No need for TMI, but I spent a good portion of the afternoon in the bathroom. Of course, we had planned to take the boy to the closest Men's Warehouse yesterday for their tux fitting. We are nearing the you'll-have-to-pay-express date, so even though I felt like crap we went anyway. Did I mention that the closest Men's Warehouse is an hours drive away? Ugh. Not a pleasant trip. Of course, everyone was hungry so they decided to get McDonalds for dinner. I begged them to leave me in the car. Brad's solution was to drive thru and let them eat on the way home. Oh, yeah... that was great. Smelling Mickey D's... trapped in the car with smacking, slurping, belching boys... lovely.

I didn't say a word when we got home (at about 8pm). I simply changed into my pjs and crawled into bed. I am still dragging this morning. Things are not good in there somewhere. I haven't eaten since lunch yesterday, so I'm going to go try some soup or something.

i know what it is. hope you feel better real soon.
i hope you realize that is the life of having males in the hh.

those pics of yours sharon has started to motivate me to put up our tree.
my cats always ruin it and we find ornaments in all the rooms, even the litter box...............




it seems like i put the tree up for the cats.
we are so entertained watching them destroy things.
