However, for some bizarre reason, if on my work computer, I type disboards.com, and then sign in and click User CP, it's always October 17th?! Not sure how it got stuck there. But if I then click refresh, it goes to the right time. Really weird! It's been a little slow (DIS), but not really, but my computer is probably way slower than all of yours, so I may not be noticing the difference as much!

Mac - we bought a computer desk while out, so now we're half way to getting that new Mac! We may wait until after Christmas though just to avoid the chaos! We have to order online though since the closest Mac store is in Milwaukee!

Oh, and for all interested, DS14 just got in the ensemble for West Side Story. He was hoping for a role, but was pretty sure he wouldn't get a singing one and there were only a few non-singing ones. I guess he's happy because he's in it at least, as are a lot of his friends, but personally I think it's going to be a WHOLE lot of work for not much return! But he basically says it'll give him a much better chance of getting a bigger role next year, so I guess tha's the optimistic way of looking at it!

congrats to son for making the ensemble.

just got back from a hockey game. We lost by one goal. Oh well, we'll get em next time. One of our star defensemen broke his wrist tonight.

Spent the afternoon with my great aunt. She is 93 and looks wonderful. Puts on her lipstick and jewelry every day! Here's a picture of her I took today. I swear, I have more wrinkles than she does!

when we go neighborhood shopping in utah in sept, i thought of on our annviersary day, maybe going horseback riding a couple of hours, near a horse farm.
would that be a good thing to do, do you think? I have not been on a horse in like 30 years, i would think they have some slow,gentle horses for unambitious folks like me.

if i was going on an anniversary holiday, it wouldn't be spent on a horse.

I hate spending money on something that is only going to depreciate in value. Although I have no guilt on blowing money on a vacation. I've got so many good memories of past vacations. Not to many memories of past cars, except for the car my first boyfriend had, and it's more the memories of what went on in that car than what kind of car it was.....

Evening everyone!

What a day.....

Swim practice in the morning, decorating Grandma's for Christmas, Bro's swim meet, dinner, shopping, and finally getting home. But it was worth it! I'm sponsoring a needy family for Christmas and I was able to get ALOT of stuff fro, the Disney Store (they love the movie Cars) for cheap!

Oh...and I got my Ornament today in the mail Don't want to open yet....do we wait til the 20th? Well thank you in advance my secret person I'm sure I will love it and I will be sending out mine shortly!!

Well I'm pooped and I'm going to NYC tomorrow! Hopefully I'll get some nice shots of the tree and other things!!
