Well gang...I'm outta here. Have a good night!![]()
The kids and I are rockin out while we decorate the tree.
last december i bought my first digital camera.
someone loaded them to iphoto for me but i haven't figured out how to post them online.
and i really have no idea what i can do with my camera.
i did find out i can make my black and white cat with a blue collar, a pink cat with a red color......
I give up. Just know that I have read everything but I can not keep a computer online long enough to get caught up.
The tree is up and decorated. I will try to load a couple of pics later on.
I'm here. I'm tired. Extended family has been fed and hugged and sent away again. Just brother came without the drama queen in tow, so a good afternoon was enjoyed by all.
If anyone in this house needs to eat again today, they will have to pick up the phone and call someone who cares.
Oh, and we hit a record high of 74 degrees here today. Supposed to reach into the 70s for the next 4 days. Somebody turned winter off?![]()
I always get this email a few times during December. It makes me laugh every year...
It's the BEST Christmas Cookie recipe EVER!
Feliz Navidad Christmas Cookies
1 cup of water
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup of brown sugar
Lemon juice
4 large eggs
1 cup nuts
2 cups of dried fruit
1 bottle Jose Cuervo 151 Tequila
Sample the Cuervo to check quality.
Take a large bowl, and check the Cuervo again to be sure it is of the highest
quality, pour one level cup and drink.
Turn on the electric mixer.
Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl.
Add one teaspoon of sugar. Beat again. At this point it's best to make sure the
Cuervo is still OK, try another cup just in case.
Turn off the mixerer thingy.
Break 2 leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit,
Pick the frigging fruit off floor.
Mix on the turner. If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers just pry it
loose with a drewscriver.
Sample the Cuervo to check for tonsisticity.
Next, sift two cups of salt, or something.
Check the Jose Cuervo again jush in case.
Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts.
Add one table.
Add a spoon of sugar, or somefink. Whatever you can find.
Greash the oven.
Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall over.
Don't forget to beat off the turner.
Finally, throw the bowl through the window, finish the Cose Juervo and
make sure to put the stove in the dishwasher.
CHERRY MISTMAS
Follow-up:
I jesh made theesh. S'veddy veddy gud. Ashually, I think I started theshe lash year. Shtill waiting for the oven to be done. How long do cookiesh take at 71 deg? 352 daysh not enough. Meanwhile, Jose Curvo is goo-oo-ood friend waiting for the chrismass cookies with me. Will get back when ... darn, my glass is leaking! Need miracle cloth to round it up - hold on.
Merry Navidad to all.
Tip for all trying to remodel their fridge. Wine fridge more useful than oven, hot fire-thingy or fast-heater radiation noissy rotating plate doo-hicky. can't cook without good alcohol. And with good coold alcohol, cooking not neckessary.
And it has the longest hood of any car I have ever driven. I've always loved the older Lincolns.
Here is the first car we had when I was a kid: 1967 Ford Country Squire but it was yellow:

Followed by a Baby Blue 1972 County Squire:

Then we had a 1977 LTD II wagon but I can't find any good pix online.
As you can tell....my father was a Ford man. Back then, people still had brand loyalty.

RAVEN!!!
The exciting Christmas tree, with only a few presents under it last night:

Outdoors all lit up with our shrub lights, outside tree, and cute new large-size bulbs (you can see some of the snow):

For those of you missing the snow, DS burying his brother in it in the backyard. Personally, I prefer doing it in the sand. In the sunshine. In Tricia's 74 degree weather rather than the balmy 19 it's up to here right now!

DS12 with his coaster he built in the basement - yep, it's bigger than him:

Another view so you can see more of it (and more of the messy basement - this should make some of you feel better about your houses!):

i'm starting to feel like everyone out there has started the shopping and tree already.
i have an excuse.
i don't know how to load the pics from iphoto to the thread.
and, i haven't started yet to shop, etc.....
when i was at the store, i bought apples.
just put my apple crisp pie in the oven.
yup, i made that brown sugar lumpy topping on it also.
i forgot to peel the stupid apples when i sliced them up and put them on the crust.
oh snap.
it's too late now to fix it.
oh mac.... i hope you can figure out how to post pictures soon.... I have a feeling we're missing out on a lot of fun stuff.....
Have you tried to google it?? (we don't have a mac, and i think it works a bit different.....)
somebody help our mac!!![]()
some day i will give the nickel tour of my dump and you will see what i have been yaking about..
Okay...so I HAVE to know....how did this "original" recipe turn out???![]()
I once drove a car with the check engine light on for 50 miles (thats how far from home I was). It was still running ok, so why stop and check it, and what was I going to check it for? Come to find out, the oil had all dripped out somehow. The person I was living with at the time was not impressed. It cost me a small fortune to have the engine rebuilt. And wouldn't you know it, not 2 months later, we were caught in a hail storm and the insurance company totaled the car.

that is...once she figures out how to load her pix to online host site....![]()
Jim had a 70's firebird
I had a 93 mustang
My Dad had a 1971 Road runner
Am I now in the muscle car circle?
You started....you got cards, remember?
Didn't you get your ornament yet??? Did you send it?
You'll get that tree out of the box in the basement yet.....check my ticker....soon time![]()
