Hey everyone, just went on the internet for the first time today. So went to the dentist this morning and he started the root canal. He numbed me up real good . Took about 40 min. to do but I brought my mp3 player so it was cool. No pain tho at all during the procedure !!!

Well the result is probably alot of soreness over the next several days and lots of Advil...my tummy is not happy with me right now! Oh and there may be a fourth root be is going to have to take care of

Other than that...I went pumpkin picking and carved one...I gotta get the picture up!!

Damo: Sorry about your pup...so sad to hear when the pass on.

I am so sorry I have fallen behind in my chat abilities and today won't be any better. I took a shift with Carol yesterday because Deb needed a break. Carol is really sick and really miserable. She has to go back to the Cancer Center today for fluids and a booster shot. They have warned her that when she gets the shot, she will feel like she is having a heart attack for about 10 minutes. I can't tell you what an experience this has been so far and we've barely begun.

I am off to Atlanta today for a baby shower so I won't be around much until later. Since I am going to the shower with my BFF, I may very well be PUI when I return.

Thanks Trician for clearing that up...I hate beer aswell but the other night it was only £1 a bottle so was drinking that....it was gross.

That sounds horrible with your sister!! All I can do it hope she gets better, its so horrible just thinking about what you all are going through, never mind even beginning to comprehend how you are feeling. Please keep us updated and let us know if there is anything we can do!

penny - good choice I've got 2 bags of Dale & Thomas popcorn that i ordered with the intent to give as Xmas presents...don't think it's going to make it.

gemma - crackheads are scary indeed-steer clear. i worked commercial real estate and as a favour to obtain juicy listings had to manage same owner's residential holdings (slum lord in what used to be a nice town up river). Got to the point that i wouldn't venture into them for inspection & to change the locks after the tenants were evicted (every 6 mos or so ) unless DH went with me. Many were used by squatters; found needles and squalid conditions. Finally, parted ways; wasn't worth the hassle. Disturbingly though, they are exactly the type of tenant who will pay a wildly inflated rental/sec. deposit; just to get operations set up...and they always come with references from other landlords who are just happy to get rid of themwhile the rest of the neighborhood slowly declines in value.

So, Bubba's team won their game (5-0) ...kinda felt bad for the other team...they seemed so disorganized. For instance, when we got there, our boys start warming up, passing, etc....the other team? Well, the other team was just running around goofing off. Didn't seem like they wuz coached real well...a shame, really..... Matter of fact, I said to DH about 3/4 thru the first half, "Maybe we should take Andrew (our goalie) a chair" I know, I'm bad, but it was true. The only time he touched the ball during the first half was to keep it from going out of bounds. Oh, and have a "Robbie" story...(the whiner kid)...I think it was Alison who said a while back, watch him turn out to be some "super scorer"....um, no. We were sitting along the sideline, and he was the only guy who could 'play' the ball. I shouted "Robbie, play the ball...get it" (ya know...to ENCOURAGE the kid).... Well, turns out...wrong thing to do! He stopped dead and looked up at me to see who was yelling at him...while the other team came by and took the ball (not far, fortunately). So, I will not yell encouragement nor cheer this kid on if I am such a distraction! Funny thing is, if he would give his best effort (games and in practice) and his Mom would sit there and cheer him on and encourage him, he wouldn't be so shocked when someone DID do it! Ggggrrrrrr....... Then, according to Coach (& Bubba), when they "shook hands" after the game, he went through the line, and instead of saying "good game", he was saying "You stink/suck".... Um, hello kettle, this is pot..... He stinks too!!!! Aaarrgghhhh..... So, after the game, we came home, Bubba did his chores, and within 45 minutes, we were right back in the same area for a birthday party he had to go to. While he was at the party, I came home to clean up and get ready for my high school reunion dinner. We left early to drop Bubba off at my Mom's. Got to the dinner early (I'm on the committe) and prepared for everyone. It was a nice dinner (altho, I've had better) and good to see some people. We actually didn't have enough time to socialize, because we had to leave about 9:30 to come back to our area to see Jimmy Norton at the Reading Comedy Outlet. What a show!!! He is one of the comiediens on the Opie & Anthony show that we saw in NJ at the Tweeter Center a month ago. We even got a pic with him after the show! His opener was a hoot to.... He was saying how his wife made him take his 3yo son (first born) to the library for storytime. He was telling us how he was hating the 10 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed story. After the first 3 fell off the bed, he was like "Ok! We get it!" So he skips ahead to the end where the last monkey fell off the bed.....1 last monkey jumpin on the bed. He fell off and bumped his head. Momma called the doctor and the doctor said (instead of "no more monkeys jumping on the bed") we're callin social services cuz you don't listen. We told you 9 other times no monkeys jumping on the bed! He added a little to it (and some 'foul' words), but, it was soooo funny!!! We had a great time!! Norton was freakin' hilarious!!! So, all in all a good day....DH & I got home just after midnight and hit the hay. Got up this morning and headed down to Mom' to get Bubba. Stopped by Dunkin Donuts on the way to bring breakfast for everyone.... DH worked cleanin' up my Mom's computer a bit (still not done, but going to bring it HERE next month while she is away for the month) and gave up after a couple hours! Had to get home to watch the Eagles ya know!
So, after a day of laundry and grocery shopping, I'm tired and don't feel like exercising, but Desperate Housewives is coming on and I'll ride the bike while watching it (doesn't feel like exercise if I'm busy watching a good show).
So, I think I'll pack it in for the night....work tomorrow (office job should be cool this week....bosses are on vacation )
