Oh! T-minus 3 DAYS!!!
I lovethe beach...so relaxing don't ya think?
I know your birthday was this month, without age guessing, all I want to say is that I hope I look as good as you when I become a mom!![]()
Yeah wouldn't that be so cool?!?!?! All of us DISers outside of Rockefeller Center with our lime green shirts...
Oh, and for those of you wondering, DS12 had his SEVEN teeth pulled yesterday. (WARNING - TMI AHEAD!) Yesterday was pretty rough - they said to expect bleeding for 3-4 hours, but his continued pretty much up until bedtime. They said to use gauze at the beginning, but if we didn't keep it in later, he was "drooling" it all over his shirt (even through 2 layers of hand towels). Eating was also a problem, since he obviously can't chew, but even things like yogurt were kind of hard for him since there was so much blood going down with it. Ick!
He just laid on the sofa most of the day (we have a reclining one and they said to keep his head up). Thought he was doing well, but around 6 he got up to go to the bathroom and didn't make it and just collapsed on the hallway floor. Stayed on the sofa after that, and went to bed early.
He did fine during the night though and seems back to normal today. The doctor said he's still supposed to be lying down today and I think that's going to prove more of a challenge. He's REALLY wanted a violin, so we went and rented him one last night (short term rentals around here are really cheap - $24 for 3 months). So I awoke this morning at 6:45 to him downstairs on the computer using a website to help him tune the violin. Leaving in a bit to drop his brother off at soccer and get him some basic violin books at the music store.
We're still sticking with liquids today (or things like ice cream, jello, yogurt) because I don't want him to break the blood clots and since the teeth pulled were in all 4 corners of his mouth, he can't exactly chew yet! But other than that, he appears to be surviving!
My big 41 is coming up next week...aaargggggh!
Lotsa jellies washed up onshore.....

I shall venture that you are 33, only because i like repeating numbers![]()

Oh! T-minus 3 DAYS!!!
You mean THESE DIS shirts? (Notice that not only are we the FIRST people at the turnstiles in the morning, there aren't even any people in line with us yet - yes, I think it was about 7:40 our first morning there - for a 9am opening!)

Tricia - you look great in your 12 year old pic - not completely geeky like me! (Whoever thought those huge glasses, especially with the little dorky decals you could stick on the bottoms of them, were cool?)

Marcie - Okay, I'll give you the glasses... but what about the blunt/bowl cut bangs I had? And what is up with the shoes I was wearing? What was I (or my mom) thinking???![]()
Mac - Glad it arrived safely![]()
AND, there are those of us that work our butt off to get/stay in shape, but that stubborn butt is still hanging on. I have lost over 50 pounds since Daniel was born. I still look old and flabby, but its not for lack of trying. I think I'm going to hunt Leslie Sansone down one of these days and stomp on her perky little head...![]()
We had a cow break last night. When I have a few minutes, I'll have to share the roundup story.![]()
