Hi guys - just wanted to say hi again and tell you we made it over to Universal for the first (short) day. DH & DS14 saw BMG and were in the very first row. DH got picked to go up on stage and got a pair of autographed drumsticks (cool since DS12 is a drummer). Both of them got pics with them after the show (internet is down again so I'm on dial up on the work computer so no more pics for now!) and had a blast.

Meanwhile DS15 and I wandered around after picking up our tickets. Unfortunately we didn't have as much fun because it was SO hot (heat indices today near 105) and we didn't have FOTL yet and the lines were so long (especially for the water rides). Walked the loop around IOA (stopping pretty much in every fast food place to sit and cool off briefly and get beverages!). Some short lines (15 min for Dueling Dragons, 5 for CaroSeussel), but we were too hot to even stand in those. Then we did a brief look around US (didn't walk the entire thing) and did some shopping in CityWalk. Tomorrow we leave bright and early to check in to RPR and start enjoying the rides. We aren't bringing the computer (still are renting the house) so I probably won't be checking back in until Tuesday! See ya then!

Dairy Queen for dinner?! No can do ....live within walking distance of one Don't they have an Ultimate Brownie Earthquake or something of the sorts?? THAT is yummy!

So, what did we do tonite? After i was home for a bit after work, we headed out to an early dinner at Texas Roadhouse. I had the prime rib and DH had the shrimp scampi and sirlion dinner. How funny is it I took those pictures for you ....thought you'd get a bang outta it! After dinner, we went into "town" for the car show. Our friend put his Pontiac GTO in the "show" and we hung out and chatted for awhile. Bubba We also walked around and checked out the other cars....even a car representing the DIS was there A nice night (most would say it's hot ) but we enjoyed it old military ambulance (The car show is the first Saturday of every month, but in June we are usually at Dorney Park at DH's company picnic, and in July we are usually in Florida....actually HOME this time.....)
