Here's DH & I with Jim Norton. He is a comedien on the Opie & Anthony show. We saw him last month in NJ (posted a pic of him signing his book). He is touring on the weekends trying out new material and was about 15 minutes from us! So, after the show, he had merchandise for sale and book signing and photo op:

(He's really short, and I was wearing heels (went to his show from my class reunion), so I "squooshed" down so I wouldn't seem SO tall )

Jodie....hope you are feeling better.... What a wonderful way to start back to work....messin' with your insurance! Guess the whole "no kids" thing turns out to 'work out' after all....are you and Mike on YOUR insurance or separate??? I hate when the start messing with that stuff....so far so good for us tho Oh, and how's FUG?

Tricia...if they want to put Joshua in first grade gifted, and he wouldn't know the difference, that is something to seriously consider. He'll be in a young grade and will still be making friends....you want the boy challenged, yet happy.... I'm sure you guys will make the best decision for him. AND, NEVER NEVER NEVER give the 'brains' credit to the man side of the family.....after carrying for 10 months AND labor/delivery.....it's the least you can claim! I will admit, Bubba got Dad's computer brains and math sense, while he got organization and spelling sense from me....well rounded....so far....

I think I about covered everyone....I learned my lesson last night with my extreme ketchup.... going to try to keep more on top of things.....

Gonna see what other trouble I can find.....

Eve's side of the story.
After three weeks in the Garden of Eden, God came to visit Eve. "So, how is everything going?" inquired God.
"It is all so beautiful, God," she replied. "The sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking, the smells, the sights, everything is wonderful, but I have just one problem. It's these breasts you have given me. The middle one pushes the other two out and I am constantly knocking them with my arms, catching them on branches and snagging them on bushes. They're a real pain," reported Eve.
And eve went on to tell God that since many other parts of her body came in pairs, such as her limbs, eyes, ears, etc..........she felt that having only two breasts might leave her body more "symmetrically balanced".
"That's a fair point," replied God, "But it was my first shot at this , you know. I gave the animals six breasts, so I figured that you needed only half of those, but I see that you are right. I will fix it up right away."
And God reached down, removed the middle breast and tossed it into the bushes.

Three weeks passed and God once again visited Eve in the Garden of Eden.
"Well, Eve, how is my favorite creation?"
"Just fantastic," she replied, "But for one oversight. You see, all the animals are paired off. The ewe has a ram and the cow has her bull. All the animals have a mate except me. I feel so alone."
God thought for a moment and said, "You know, Eve, you are right. How could I have overlooked this? You do need a mate and I will immediately create a man from a part of you. Let's see..........where did I put the useless b00b?"

Now doesn't THAT make more sense than that crap about the rib?

Barb, OMG, I am one who thinks Jim Norton is very funny. I was watching his HBO special and I got a kick out of him when he was talking about how he can't take water on a plane because some idiot didn't have the courtesy to stick the bomb on a crying infant....

Yeah. I started to post back, "It amazes me how many people don't get that the Jay Leno version of the McD's coffee story is more fun than the Court TV version." But then I figured it would just turn into a flame-fest, so what's the point.

Barb - They released Carol at 5:02pm... just in time for ATLANTA TRAFFIC. Woo friggin Hoo! Somebody was NOT thinking. Took them almost 3 hours to get home (normally a 1 hour and 15 min trip).

They plan to admit her to the hospital when her second round of chemo starts. Why wait until you need an ambulance, right?

the bruises on the legs in that one pic are still there from the accident on HM. they are all gone now. the one on the right side of the face is gone also now.

we had the meet at tomorrow land terrace and watched hallowishes from there.

took off 40 lbs in 3 months and only gained 7 of it back on the trip.
