That would be something to see and would love for my youngest DS to see a launch cause he loves the space shuttles

I just hope they keep this one in the evening. Night time launches are sooooo much better than day time. The last one was absolutely beautiful and would give you goose bumps.

I got a great spot for the night launches..
This time I got a digital camera to take pics with....
Its pretty bright even on the west coast..

i quit smoking (for the last time ) 10 years ago, noticed a sign @ drug store today when i was picking up my newspaper

they r instituting the new $.60-some state tax early resulting in a pack of marlboro lights costing $6.79

they were slightly over $2.00 when i quit, shocking

know i used to pick them up in North Carolina-no or less taxes, just wondering

how much does a pack of smokes cost in your neighborhood ?

I've never smoked but my mom pays £ 5.60 ($ 10.30) a pack....

I don't smoke either, but my mom pays anywhere from $8-$10 a pack depending on where she buys them ... I keep telling her that at this rate it'll be cheaper to buy pot soon

They did it yesterday here in FLA.Now its $5.50 a pack of Camels!!

I've never smoked but my mom pays £ 5.60 ($ 10.30) a pack....

At the price they are now I'm quitting before they hit that price!!

Do the math at $5.50 2packs a day.In one week that cost $77 a week-$308 a month-$3696 a year.Thats a vaccation and a more for me!!

Ok, so I changed my hotel....again. I'm now staying at the RPR the entire week. I booked the AAA rate, and I should have just enough for it. All I have to do is remember to sign up for AAA with enough time to get the card. Does anyone know if you go to one of the AAA offices do you get the card immediately or do they still mail it?

Been watching the shuttle launches from South Florida for years. The last night launch from here was really nice. My son really loves them too. The only problem I have when watching them is thinking of the Challenger disaster. I was in elementary school watching it live outside to the north and watched it blowup. Then we ran inside to watch the tv and then they sent all the students home.

stupid shuttle Q from yankee who has just missed more than a few launches ; i've heard so much re the sonic boom. How close to the launch do u have to be to feel/hear it.

We have had AAA for years,they just take it out of the bank account yearly..I'm sure if you go and sign up and pay your account is active..Just use your connfirmation # till you recieve your card and all is good!!

We're also AAA members. When we first opened our account, we received temporary tags with our membership number on it from the office. A couple weeks later, the AAA membership card arrived in the mail.
