the 'man' started to crack down on the hunters that used to troll the woods next to my house (power company who owned it had incident wherein dumb bunny hunter broke leg in groundhog hole & sued them...how, when he was trespassing & it's posted? ) anyway, they now have security guards @ hunting season...guess the deer population has exploded...saw a flock of wild turkeys even...they were nasty brutes...who knew?

Oops - that didn't take long! I was waiting for my husband to let me know what was going on so thought I'd let you guys know what happened, but now just heard from him. Eric ended up getting 5 stitches and they're on their way home. Poor kid! Now he can just tell everyone he cut himself shaving!

owie, did u have a plastic surgeon do the honors? local er docs won't do anything on the face here, just put a steri strip on it & call for reinforcements. hope he's feeling better real soon...forget shaving story...tell the chicks he was in a knife fight...works every time

No, no plastic surgeon. If it was me, I probably wouldn't even have taken him to get stitched up (bad mom!), so they had to have done a better job than that!

Minnie - I'll try to look for the Strivectin - is it an over the counter drug or prescription?

Some good news - Matt got his ACT scores online this morning from his test on Feb 7th. He got a 33 composite (which was his goal). He insists he's going to take it again in April to try to raise his score, but I think he really just wants to see if he can get a 36 (perfect score) in math. His GF took it as well (she had already taken the Dec one) and raised her score from a 29 to a 30 (which I think sounds so much more impressive!).

Marci, Strivectin is the cream that lightens and smooths stretch marks and they also have it for hand, eye creams, etc. You can find it at better dept stores(Macy's/Sephora. The original small tube will run you about $75.

I got it for my DD's stretch marks from ballet and it really works--you just have to be faithful--once in am again pm. It will last you for months.

I saw a deal at the JCP Sephora and bought some more for me--I sell Mary Kay and have now quit using that and instead use the original on my face. My DH wanted a moisturizer and has always said no matter what brand I gave him that it would cause breakouts. So, I told him to use it--one month and his face looks fantastic. A lot smoother with a more youthful glow. And no acne.

Stupid me--I even got one of my money maker consultants under me to switch and she loves the hand one. That's the only 1 she tried so far.


Speaking of ACT's, my lovely niece had a 30 on hers and got into pharmacy school at WVU, quit, went to a small state college near here and is now refilling ink cartridges for a living. Throwing her life away.

And found at yesterday that she dumped this really nice guy that she had with her at Christmas because he was too nice. Now she's back with her felon boyfriend that caused her to drop out of school in the 1st place. STUPID STUPID STUPID

Hi Metrne of my builders had a remodle job over there.All I had too do is meet with him and price the drywall out..I love days like that I can go to US when I'm done.It only took me a hour and a half of talking,meuasure the footage and I was done!!

Tell Ya what there is alot of traffic over there...

I still work for the company that called me back and do estimating..Its to easy of a job and pays not badly!!!

My DD wanted to go to some FBI thing in DC for one week and it would've cost about the same. I asked her to pick between Universal and DC--she chose well. Made me proud.

Gotta get moving--missed it last night. Forgot and ended up watching last minutes of Gs to Gents on MTV last night--never again. Stupid show. I had to mute IT so I could read what they were saying. I guess I just pretend to be a T.H.U.G.

Looks pretty. That's what I want my DD to do with our bathroom next year--I don't know if I'm ready for all of the demo involved.

Just bought an elliptical machine since the treadmill and the bike both broke. Good deal at Sam's Club. Will be looking good for you guys.
