Here is what we did on sunday:

it was the last time in the Spectrum in Philadelphia. They are tearing the arena down and making an entertainment complex. Little Buddy enjoyed it ALOT and this is the first time for me and the girls......its usually Daddy, Bud and one of our male friends. It was pretty neat. I prefer the freestyle round though.

Off to work - I need to make money to supply the paper products for the party at circ's house!!!!

You working today? The schools here are all open. The school districts have to make up some snow days and today is the first of them. Has your weather improved? How are "our" fruit trees?

Yes...worked yesterday. I work at a hospital so they don't have many holidays...even for the non-clinic folks like me. The schools around here were closed yesterday. The weather improved last week but now it's getting cooler again this week. The orange tree has given it's last fruit for the year. Now comes fertilizing starting in March.

Evening all. My mother's making some sort of diet soup she found in a magazine. I'll tell ya how it is after I try it.

i read something the other day u probably know...there is a dirt wall around much of the savannah in AK...not to keep the animals in...to keep the deer out or they'd strip the vegatation

how neat it was you could all take it in and have your little guy love it.

to keep it cheap, buy the generic plates but lots of paper towel beside the tp.
you know how people are always spilling beer and grinding in the cheese nachos in the rugs.....
yea, we're moving the rugs from upstairs to the basement. i mean, how can you throw a party and not have a proper floor covering....?

i'll hold the cat. problem solved.
with all of us trampling in the house, we'll make a wide path in the snow to the door. we're such good homies, we don't mind helping in that way.

Here's a pretty good weight loss soup that I tweaked from the French Women Don't Get Fat book. Take a big pot of boiling water and throw in cleaned, chopped leeks with a small amount of beef buillion. S & P to taste.

We think it tastes like "Chinese" Soup. Very flavorful and filling. Even some of DD's friends have come to our house asking for that soup that tastes like the Ramen noodle soup w/o the noodles.

In the book, you don't add salt or buillion--Magical Leek Soup. You drain the leeks out and just use for a side dish or meal replacement.The broth is drank over a weekend and only eating leeks for a supper to jump start your diet.
