Since I'm asking you all to move to West Virginia, I passing along a poem my mother just sent...
It's winter in WEST VIRGINIA
And the gentle breezes blow
Seventy miles an hour
At twenty-five below.
Oh, how I love WEST VIRGINIA
When the snow's up to your butt
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut.
Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I'll hang around
I could never leave WEST VIRGINIA
'Cause I'm frozen to the ground!![]()

Well, I have both an iPod Nano and a Playstation Portable ... I use my iPod for walking and I bought the PSP for traveling as you can watch movies on it, play games and also listen to music ... the PSPs are cheaper now than they used to be - about $170 - plus you'll need to pick up a memory stick for the songs/game saves etc ... that's my suggestionOk homies I know some of you have more knowlage on this than I do.
I want to get me and DW a mp3 player to listen on the plane for our trip to Universaland debating between ipod touch which is way expensive or a zune which is cheaper and can hold alot more songs
Like I have alot I can download![]()

Afternoon everyone ...
Well, I have both an iPod Nano and a Playstation Portable ... I use my iPod for walking and I bought the PSP for traveling as you can watch movies on it, play games and also listen to music ... the PSPs are cheaper now than they used to be - about $170 - plus you'll need to pick up a memory stick for the songs/game saves etc ... that's my suggestion(plus the screen on the PSP is larger than the Zune I think)
Thanks for heads up on the zune and I do have a psp but with my youngest DS and the move I have no idea where it is but did find the 2 movies I have for it and 1 game (that does me alot of good uh)DO NOT GET A ZUNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We got two, one for my DH and one for myself. The device itsself is wonderful, better than any iPod out there. But the software is so full of bugs it's almost non-functional. Once you load your music onto it, don't even try to change anything! You can't add new music or make new playlists without messing up the way your PC functions. They left open application tails all over the program, which means that certain application never close and interfere with everything else your computer needs to do. You can go through and close all of them yourself, but it's time consuming and annoying. My husband does a lot of programming in 30+ computer languages in his job. He said this software didn't even qualify as amateur - it's a beginner's failed project. So don't get a Zune! It's a headache!
Okay, consumer report finished.
I've tentatively set October 8-13 as our HHN vacation time.Is that when all the Homies gather, or do I need to change it?

yea, but i can read your mind and know it is not even close to spring time there....![]()
besides, i read your temperature gauge, which by the way, i love!
bonny and lee go for the columbus day weekend and patster, the last time i talked to him, is a go for that weekend also.
and Metro, well...........he has no options.
i whine too much............
he goes on the off peak nights.
darkie is a local and if he doesn't work, you'll probably see him also.
donald and daisy duck will be there or i'll have to hurt them.
there are a few more that i know are going that time period also
Hmmm...I'm not sure about either one of those. I've been saying Disney needs to have a HHN like event at the Studios but I imagine the Disneyphiles will be up in arms since it's not family friendly.todd, or other FLA peeps 'in the know' stumbled across this rumour re NM before Xmas dark ride @ MGM...do u think it has teeth (oh i hope so!)
interesting bit re phrase 'more intense Halloween after-hours event', probably as 'scary' as they'll ever getdon't think it'll ever begin to siphon the HHN crowd

A couple of interesting rumors popped up during my research trip over the weekend. First up, there's a hot rumor circulating that George Lucas will make an appearance at some point during Star Wars Weekends (the final weekend has been mentioned a lot, but nothing is certain) while he visits to take a look at progress on Star Tours 2.0. It's likely that the reinvigorated development for a new version of the attraction is linked to Disney's attempt to convince Lucas to let them broadcast the upcoming live-action Star Wars-based television series (Warner Brothers won the battle to show the "Clone Wars" series.)
The second rumor is that, following the use of the old Hunchback theater at the Streets of America backlot for the Star Wars Weekend talk show events, it will be reconverted to house a Nightmare Before Christmas-based dark ride, as seen on the Disneyland and
If this comes to pass, it will complement not only Disney's Christmas offering, but the more intense Halloween after-hours event they are trying to push for the Studios. In addition, it would help the transition of Grad Nite events to the Studios.
The final rumor involves space adjacent to Toy Story Mania. This one says that there will be a Cars-themed attraction there in time for the release of Cars 2 in 2012.
Those are rumors, not confirmed, so take them for what they're wor
I will...I would like to see another dark ride as well as another coaster at Disney but they are so damned stubborn when it comes to thrills and they insist on adding kiddie rides and family shows all the time. Most people have given AI bad reviews and I have absolutely no interest at all in wasting my time seeing that mess when I don't watch the show any longer.todd - keep me in the loop, i would like to see another dark ride (my fav) & Nightmare gang would be a good choice, popular w/many teens-alternative, etc.
sort of funny if u think of it though, disney going with Nightmare & U w/HP, guess they're each trying to be more inclusive/broaden their customer base. Just hope they don't forget what they each do best & stay true to it!
