todd - (as well as any other floridians who care to comment ) i need 1st hand recollection re ur opin on the whether the last week of July (or, for that matter, any week in July) is much worse humidity & temp wise than the last weeks of June with which i am familiar. I've seen the temp & rain charts, yet imo rn't consistent. need to pick a week with that time range & don't want to dissolve into a puddle of sweat if i can avoid it

Janet...all of July and August is pretty bad in terms of humidity so there's no way to avoid it. In the summer, we get almost daily t-storms (as you well know) but the humidity usually comes back with a vengeance afterwards. Summer is about the only time I sometimes wish I didn't live in Florida.

Weird coincidence today.....

A friend from high school got in touch with me via facebook a few weeks ago. We exchanged some greetings and such....but then I found out she became engaged over the holiday

Well she made some comments about the wedding and it turns out...she is planning a Disney wedding!!!!

She is just starting and we are exchanging so much info.

Way cool! Who would have guessed?

Good morning to all

We had a thaw here yesterday, raining,windy, and alot of snow has melted. Hit 61 degrees! And now it has turned cold again and windy, back in the 20's. Bleh! At least most of the snow has melted. Can see green lawns for once!


Talking about Facebook, my DH opened a Facebook acct under his name about a month or so ago. We haven't done anything with it, as we don't know how to add stuff on there ,etc. Just haven't taken the time to do that.


Gotta take Chrissy for her yearly echocardiogram tomorrow morning at her Ped card office.

We had a wonderful time.
Boston is a great walking city with loads of history.
Temps in the 50's and 60's this weekend!
