i think that it is fabulous you have an orange tree in your yard!

I love my naval orange tree...it's the only one in the neighborhood. My neighbor has a grapefruit tree but I don't really like grapefruit that much. Some years are better than others. I still have another dozen or so still on the tree. They aren't quite ready for picking.

Oh Todd those look fabulous. Please eat one for me too!

Hey everyone!

Weird coincidence today.....

A friend from high school got in touch with me via facebook a few weeks ago. We exchanged some greetings and such....but then I found out she became engaged over the holiday

Well she made some comments about the wedding and it turns out...she is planning a Disney wedding!!!!

She is just starting and we are exchanging so much info.

Way cool! Who would have guessed?

I don't celebrate Xmas, so I got & received nothing. Which makes me happy. I have to save my $$$ for my trip to Las Vegas anyway. That trip is next month!

Evening all. Got a good deal on my flight to Florida. Non-stop both ways for $199 through AirTran. Woo! I'm also slightly depressed today because my idol Eartha Kitt passes today from colon cancer. I'm glad I bought one of her greatest hits CD so I can still listen to her voice.

mom knows best (oh, how i luv to say that lol ), u shoot & score!

sad to hear of her passing, yet not surprised...she was the narrator for the candlelight processional a few years ago & had a tough time of it/kept losing her place, etc...shame to see such a decline in a great talent...that voice-unmistakable!

mac - lots of gremlins in the ornament exchange this year , no good deed goes unpunished , shame

todd - (as well as any other floridians who care to comment ) i need 1st hand recollection re ur opin on the whether the last week of July (or, for that matter, any week in July) is much worse humidity & temp wise than the last weeks of June with which i am familiar. I've seen the temp & rain charts, yet imo rn't consistent. need to pick a week with that time range & don't want to dissolve into a puddle of sweat if i can avoid it
