Great weekend had here.

My sister in law and her family were up from London and we went in to Edinburgh to the winter festival.

We also did a bit sightseeing because we want to make sure my neice knows her Scottish roots.

I got some good pics and if youse guys like I will post them......

Her name is Mia..She is half Rednose and half golden retriever..Very hyper and protective..Unfort with the remodeling going on in the house she is in the runner I built in the backyard(its 40 by 10-I dont believe a dog should be on a chain)..But what a great dog.. /I]

Hello all

I am really tired and we are all exhausted after the last two days. I wanted to say thanks again for the prayers and thoughts .

Well turns out we took our DS to the wake on Monday and it wasn't as bad as I thought . My MIL really wanted us there as a family and I took his Nintendo DS and all was well .
Today for the funeral we left the kids at home and went on our own. Thankgod for that as it was really a horror of a day . My DH's grandfather was married to her for 65 years and is really having a very hard time with her passing. With two funerals in one week I am looking forward to a NEW YEAR on Wed, night .

Off to bed soon .

BTW will try to post a photo of my ornament some time in the morning ... I hope .

Kids kept me busy today.
Found out tonight we are invited to another family wedding in 2009!
My 3rd cousin is getting married, the brother of the cousin that just got married this past July. Looks like this wedding is out of state, but the groom's mother is going to throw a reception in our area,sometime in July.
My 2nd cousin called me tonight about it. I called my mom about it tonight, she said she already knew before Christmas but forgot to tell me the news

hey, tammi tu tu, how is your pt going for you?.

Mine was going really well until a therapist decided to overdo it in the assisted active stretches last week. So after a setback where I could hardly move my arm for a few days, the head therapist gave me a list of different stretches to do. I need to do fewer repetitions at home, but do them more frequently. We've discovered that I have a nerve that needs to be stretched, too. That's really painful!!!!!!

How is yours? Are you doing strengthening, stretching, or something else?

Yes! Post a bunch! I can pretend I'm there and do the Highland Fling. I'd do the sword dance, but that takes too long and I have no endurance. That's what happens when you don't exercise much for two decades. I really want to visit Scotland one of these days. Get clothes, take a million pictures, see the culture, learn to do a PERFECT Scottish accent, and get geneology from the source. There are a few things that need to be corrected in our family records.

Wow, my family is so spread out that I haven't even met all of my 1st cousins and nieces/nephews. I've never met a 2nd cousin that I recognized as such. 1st cousin once removed and great uncle are the most distant relatives I've had the privilege of meeting. That's great that your family is so close and stays in contact like that.


Donald, I love the picture of your dog! Furkids are great. I always miss ours when we go on vacation. But until dogs start enjoying roller coasters, they're better off at home with the pet sitter.
