Happy Saturday. I am having a mostly lazy day. Tonight dh and I are going to some sort of Rat Pack tribute show. Not really my thing, but I agreed to go since he is taking me to see Rick Springfield next month.

Vacation was great. Dh and I did absolutely nothing, but decide if it was a beach chair or pool chair day and belly up to the buffet and restaurants for dinner.

Sounds super relaxing.

I have been dealing with some health issues the last year, and I have finally put some little pieces of the puzzle together. I have an appointment with my doctor on Monday. I am hoping that I am on the right track and hopefully have some testing done to confirm my suspicions.

Key West

I went there once back when we first moved to FL in 1997. I remember eating at Sloppy Joe’s and going to the buoy. My camera broke on that trip, so I don’t have any pictures. When are you planning on going?

You might be lucky. They were surprising folks with park views.

That would be awesome but I won’t get my hopes up. I had a lovely view of the parking lot at Stella Nova.

I was and I still was unable to get a VQ after 6 try’s. I would get in and get a time and immediately hit submit and it was gone everytime.

You got farther than I did. I couldn’t even get times to show up.

PSA for those who have prime & use amazon. Might want to check their invoice before hitting submit.

Ran into my first ‘hidden tarriff’ surcharge today. Caught it before check out and removed from cart.

We return to Cancun area - close to Playa Del Carmen. We went to an adults only resort - which was great! I would highly recommend this resort to others. It was quiet, low key. If you are wanting a high party resort....this is NOT the one for you. They did have lots of fun adult things to do, but if you were looking for an all night disco - you won't find it there. The food was amazing as well.

That sounds amazing. Dh and I were just talking today about how we would love it if Disney would have an adults only event. It would need to be a nighttime, separate ticket event like Disney after dark, but I am sure it would sell out.

I had a surprise this afternoon. Dh and I went to Sam’s Club and B ran some errands and went for a hair cut. She has always just had the ends trimmed. Today she went from this:

To just above shoulder length. It looks really cute. I told her that it might curl even more now.

After the Mr finishes his walk, he will make breakfast and he will grill the steaks later Nice to not have any chores on my plate today

Kids wanted us to go to kennywood , unfortunately not released to ride yet. Told I can try the kiddie rides end of month & see how I feel. I'll take it

Has anyone heard from Mac. I have not seen her posting and wanted to make sure she is ok?

Have noticed her obvious absence from the Sans.

She hasnt responded here when I inquired. Hopefully, just taking a break.

I'm almost 99.9% certain we will be planning a return trip soon with the boys

I will need to be smart with my vacation time. I have 3 weeks, along with 3 personal leave days as well as one stat float day to use.

It can be a challenge to fit in all those bucket list trips lol Have fun planning!

There are 3 of them.
Freebie-Duvall loop has shortest path, yet takes the longest as it hits many hotels

then two paid can pick up at pier one looks like a kiddie train lol, the other a trolley. Thinking a loop around the area with the narration, then get off to explore what catches our fancy

Might get off at the mile marker first thing as I'm assuming the crowds steadily build

We dock there next month, on the 5th Hoping not too hot or raining that day If anything will be early off ship to get as much done possible

Had a friend with that sort of hair texture get hers cut when Starting search for professional employment Stylist must not have had experience in that regard Wanted it shoulder length. Wound up fluffing/springing up into a ball shape. Thankfully, a more seasoned girl in salon was able to fix it, but wound up really short & layered

The show had Dean, Sammy, and Frank represented. I think they did a good job of portraying the Rat Pack. I just don’t care for the music. I think I was one of the youngest people in the audience.

She seems too. I’m actually glad she had a lot cut. I don’t want her to turn into one of those girls whose entire identity is based on her hair. She had a cute flip going on today.

Hubby and I have been to Key West a few times and enjoyed our visits there. It has been a number of years ago. Needless to say as with many tourist areas it has changed.

I had a very nice Mother’s Day yesterday. Received some nice phone calls from family.

Granddaughter M and her hubby L hosted a nice Mother’s Day lunch at their house. It was ribs and pulled pork and all the trimmings. It was a wonderful meal and so nice to see everyone. They are so sweet.

I’am so thankful for all my family.

Hubby and I returned home full to brim. I went out and planted some flowers in my mail box planters and a few pots on my back porch.

It started out being 56 yesterday morning when I woke up then reached 80 degrees by 3 pm. Beautiful day.

Thursday evening we had a big storm come through which brought a significant amount of hail of various sizes and it sheared limbs and leaves out of the trees. I was concerned for awhile that we could have some busted windows, but thankfully we did not.

When I went out Saturday to do a little gardening I found a solid ice pile of accumulated hale behind a tree near the house and it was 72 degrees out.

Quiet here this morning with a little bit of drizzle outside.

Enjoying my coffee this morning.

I have a number of business phone calls this morning then a couple of errands.

Going to get over to the TR and get going on getting some of the pictures from Epic up before I start the morning in the office.
