Ugh that Monday morning feeling. But yay, a holiday week. Get those stretchy pants ready.

And so, below freezing this morning. 31 said our outdoor thermometer. Brr, trash was colder sitting outside at the curb. No matter, they are mostly pretty full now. Nothing like topping them off, so even less trash around now, as from dinner and early breakfast for DH and I, is now in the cans. Trash cans will be empty before noon. First mostly heard around 7 am. So we are one of the few neighbors that are up in that early hour.
And yay, as commuting day is that holiday day, so no commuting needed this week. Woot!
And another yay, that rain is coming later today, into tomorrow and Wednesday. Then a full day of sunshine for Turkey Day. Black Friday, cloud covered, but rain holds off until the weekend. Ah just warm enough, it’s rain, and not that 4 letter white word. Weather this week deserves a woot!
Ooh I think I heard someone up. Since I don’t hear a voice, I think it was older one. Guess he has to be somewhere early today. Will find out soon enough if he comes down the stairs. Hmm, I think I heard the shower on.
And so, that back to routine day, and since DH fell asleep at dinner time, I didn’t even hear him get up. But alarm went off, so I was up too. Last of bagels, so I’m full enough, and hope to enjoy quite a few mug filled drinks today. I can see a nap in there, as not only was he to bed early, he was also a restless bedmate. Sigh.
Thus, that truly routine day for us. But not quite. Oh, older one said he wasn’t feeling well, but said he was going back to sleep. His and little one’s bagels will wait to be toasted. Older one does work today. I guess he will still go in, if feeling better as he gets some more sleep. I hope so. At least said a tummy issue, so no need to get out that test. He eats late, as he returns later in the after dinner hours.
But back to that routine online for me, and DH. Quiet enough. I guess DH’s usual chatting this time of day, means many are relaxing this week. Makes sense.
And yay, two of our extended family members arrive on Wednesday. They may wave to Keisha, as they do pass across our state, the widest way, from West to East. Our furthest flung extended family member, won’t make it East this week. Her work doesn’t give her enough time off to travel. She does however, get almost month off at that next holidays’ time. But her parents travel to her, to spend those holidays. At least that’s been for years now, so the only time we usually get to see her, is in the mid Summer time.
Ah, Monday it is. Hope yours is Marvelous.
Woot! Get over this hump of a day two days from now, and black will be that most happy Friday feeling the day after. Ooh, November is chugging along quick. And so does our holiday last minute booked holiday fun time. Safe travels to Keisha, as she strolls into that cruise with thoughts of turkey dinner the days before. Yay, December starts at the end of next week.
So early I am. And third mug fill. Going to be a long feeling day. But hope little one is game for some bingo at that chicken store, at dinner time today.
