Someone took my Christmas decorations...

I had some cute Christmas decorations on my front porch. I've used them the past few years and never had a problem. I went outside this morning and some of them were missing. Fortunately, whoever took them left my reindeer and Santa. The elves are gone.

I assume a bunch of kids took them as my sister (who lives down the street from me) was also missing decorations this morning. Seems like a sad thing to do on Christmas.

I am sorry to hear that. I live on a corner and noticed the street signs were missing? Who steals 2 street signs? This isnt the first time either.

I have heard of this happening more and more. I have a friend in NC who had some of her Christmas decorations stolen and some vandalized. They also did this to several other homes in the area.

I feel so sorry for a family who lives on a street close to the entrance way of our subdivision. For years they have decorated for every single holiday with those blow up yard decorations. They have a ton for Halloween and Christmas. This year I noticed that they stopped doing it. I was talking to someone a few weeks ago and they said that someone had sliced every single one of their yard decorations last year at Halloween or Christmas. This is an elderly couple and it just broke my heart that someone would do such a mean thing to them.

I'm sorry that that happened to you OP. Maybe they will have a heart and return them to you.

We had some lights stolen about 2 years ago. Weird.

When we reported it to the police, they said there was nothing they could do, and that the lights were probably taken to a local flea market & sold.

That's terrible!! I don't understand why people do that. One year someone stole baby Jesus from our yard.
