I work at a University and a few years back, my lunch kept being stolen from the staff lounge. Since the lounge had a "keyed" lock on it (to keep students out) I knew it wasn't a student stealing my lunch...it had to be a co-worker.
So, one day, I deliberately made a very pretty looking chicken salad with toasted pecans, and all the "goodies" in it...and made it with some spoiled chicken! It put enough spices on it that all you could smell were the spices and not the bad chicken. I packed it in my bag with my name on it (as I always do) and put it in the fridge with some fruit salad, lavash crackers, etc. Made it look really appetizing! Well, when lunch rolled around, I went to look for my chicken salad and sure enough, it was gone. So I took out a sheet of paper and wrote: To the thief who keeps stealing my lunch, I just found out that the deli where I bought the chicken salad recalled the chicken salad for possible salmonella. Hope you enjoy your sick time!
Sure enough, the culprit was really, really sick for a few days...but my lunch has never, ever been stolen again!
Yes, revenge is very sweet!
