Can you tell me what bank there ATMs they are affilated with. I don't want to go with a lot of cash but I don't want to get hit with a fee each time I withdraw either.
Thanks!

I believe they are Sun or Suntrust banks atms or that they WERE, I know there are a lot of bank one ATM machines now (i guess becuase of the Disney Visa) and bank one has now merged with Chase.....SO, I am assuming they are Chase atms, however I think the ones under the train station in MK are still Suntrust, someone might know better then me though

The ATMs are Bank One -- the official Visa Cardholder owner. They used to be the Sun Bank, but once Disney became affiliated with Bank One -- the Sun ones disappeared. :flower:

I would assume those Bank One's will convert to Chase at some point in the future.

I just got my notification of the changes in policy to our Disney card since Chase bought them out.

Followup question for someone who may know...

How much is the fee to use the atm? Around here we're charged anywhere from $1 - $2 to use an ATM that isn't our bank...

Thanks guys. Now is Chase a actual bank? Should I get a bank one or a chase account. :confused3 I go at the end of Sept.

tbelfonti the fee is usually $2.

Chase is an actual bank.

Don't worry about it.

If you've got Bank One cards, they'll be honored as Chase, or they'll send you new cards.

:wizard: Anyone in the North East should really consider a bank switch. Commerce Bank refunds all ATM charges to your account! I switched banks before our last trip, and it was great! I didn't even worry about using the ATM's because they paid me back every time I was charged! It was awesome! Otherwise, I think they charge about $2.00 a transaction, depending on the ATM and where it is located in the World.... :wizard:

It's usually in the neighborhood of $1.50 - $2.50 that is charged, by each bank. Bank One and your bank. So you're really looking at a $3.00 - $5.00 charge for each withdrawal.

I planned to take the cash out before we went so we won't have to withdrawal at ATMs. Places take credit card as well. I think we'll use the cash for all the CS meals and use the CC for TS meals (we aren't doing a lot of TS meals). Souveniers and extras - trying to limit buying these but probably use extra cash left over.

Actually, our bank (was charter one, now citizen's) doesn't charge us, we just pay the other bank's fee.

We plan on bringing cash along, but it's good to know the fee just in case.

I read somewhere that all the food vendors including the food carts took credit cards so if you have a debit card why not use that and not worry about cash at all.

While that is true - you have to keep a minimum daily balance of $2,500.00 in your account for Commerce to refund your fees. I work for that "convenient bank", and I don't know about anyone else, but I can't seem to keep that much in my account!

But, that being said, it is a great bank. Mr. Hill (pres. & CEO) patterns his training very much like the Disney model - all for the guest experience.

Hmmm.... Thats odd. I never ever have that much money in my checking account adn I get all my ATM fees refunded. Does this requirement include money in your savings account as well?? :confused3
