ok i have been crunching numbers and i am starting to see double..can someone tell me if this looks right..i am trying to see if this makes since and if i am doing this right....

ok we are going to disney in december....we are staying at pop centutry...we will arrive late on dec 3rd so i dont want to get a dream maker package and waste tickets on that day and the last day we are gonna be there we are gonna do downtown disney sooo dont wanna waste money that day on tickets either sooo...here is what i have come up with..

make a couple of reservations ..first night dec 3 basic plan preferred room 97.02
dec 4-10 dreammaker 1835.00 now my tickets are good through midnight on the day we checkout right? so i am going to do it like we are checking out on the 10th but we really are staying one more night...so
dec 10 basic plan 97.02

it saves us 223.74 over the dreammaker package for the whole time.....does this make sense??? thanks for any help...

Makes sense to me. That is what we were going to do if we went with the dream maker package. We also decided for a day of Universal in the middle so went with AP rates and 7 day hoppers instead.

that is a good way to do it, to save $$...that being said, I am not a big fan of the LOS passes (or whatever they are calling them now). I like hopper passes, because you can take a break in the middle of the week if you feel the need, and not "waste" a day of your tix. The hoppers never expire, and you can get discounted tickets easily. A friend of mine used paramount travel and got a great deal that included a free character meal. If you do not use a day they can be used for future visits...even if it is 20 years before you go again.:sunny:

I know park hopper PLUS tickets never expire and do NOT have to be used on consecutive days. Like you can go to MK on Monday, take Tuesday off and hang by the pool, and go back on Wednesday, only using TWO days. Is this true of plain old park hoppers as well? :wave2:

What if some one in your trip gets ill?
My son had an accident in MGM and he couldn't go the next day.
With the Hopper Pass there flexablity if you want some down time or go for the 2 for 1 at Seaworld.
On a side note, I just was going through some summer stuff getting ready for April trip and ran across a "PAPER 4 DAY 3 PARK HOPPER PASS"with one puch hole and date of use line not used, last dated 1994.
The only reason I can deduce why the pass was not used up was that it was a relatives pass who onlystayed a couple of days on that trip to WDW.
Wondering where to e-mail or call to find out if the pass is valid for an upgrade or swap for any WDW park of some sort?
"puzzled!"

but "THE MAGIC HAPPENS!!!"
:jester: :jester: :jester:

Quick thought: Alamo park pass promo where you get a water park pass included !

WDW tix never expire so I think all you will have to do is exchange that ticket for a ticket that can be used in the turnstiles at guest relations.

PH passes never expire. You use them one day at time, and can hop to all four major parks within one day as many times as you like. PHP passes never expire either and are used the same way, with the exception of the Plus features. You can use the plus features at TL, BB and PI and they are used up each time you enter and you cannot hop between them.
For example, a 5 day park hopper Plus ticket - You get unlimited entry to the four major parks for any 5 days. The days do not have to be consecutive, or even on the same trip. They never expire! The plus features are used separately. If you went to the parks during the day, and went to PI on the same day, that uses up one day on the PH and also one Plus. If you spent the day at BB or TL and did not got into a major park at all that day, then you have only used on Plus feature.
We had 6 day PHP with 3 plusses for our last trip. We used up the 6 days, but only 2 plusses. We'll be using that remaining plus feature for PI one evening on our upcoming trip in May.

can you get 7 day hopper passes???

I think you can only get 7 day park hopper plusses, but according to mousesavers, from floridaorlandotickets.com (that's where I got my tickets and they were great to work with) they are $307. each for an adult plus $7. shipping (covers the whole order). Advance purchase for a 6 day length of stay is 310.98 per adult. So, if you have more than one person going and do not plan to go to Disney Quest, you will actually SAVE money with a 7 day PHP...if I did the math right.

Anyone want to figure it out and see if I'm right? LOL

Wait, I just reread your original post and you are paying for a *7* day length of stay if I'm reading right, that costs $347.19! That is compared to $310.98 for a 7 day PHP with 4 plusses!
