:sad1::sad1::sad1::sad1::sad1::sad1::sad1::sad1:

Yeah, I admit it, I've never gone to a Pin Event before & don't understand how it all works. Remember the first time you went?

Ok, anyway, two things have come up...

#1 - I didn't realize that only registered guests could come into the pin-trading area. Stoopid, I know, but I only got two tickets - one for DH & one for me. So DD doesn't have a ticket. She's not into pins like we are, but she does like to trade. She can't even come in to trade unless I buy her a full-price ticket?

I kind of thought the pin event $$ was for being able to purchase the pins in the RSP & stuff..

#2 - My RSP has gotten screwed-up. I was trying to delete my #10 pin and hav e instead ended up with a DUPLICATE, TWO copies of the same pin...1 at #9 and another one at #10.
Does this screw up my entire RSP?!? Will I now be blackballed by the Pin Gods?!?

Thanks - am very upset, obviously didn't understand how this whole Pin Event works.

The registration is for the entire event not just the RSP. It is held inside the old Millenium Village inbetween England and Canada. If you don't have credentials showing you paid, you can't get inside the door. In addition to the RSP (the right to buy pins), you will be getting free pins, vouchers for food, some sort of snack on Saturday, the ability to trade pins with CMs on pin boards, look at the pins about to be released at the various Disney locations, play games if selected, watch or participate in the silent auction, etc. Only you can decide if it is worth it to buy a ticket and not break up you family.

As for your RSP, never heard of something like this. If I were the pin gods, I would delete the duplicate since the computer should not have allowed it and move everything up one on the RSP list. Don't know what THEY will do, but having two of the same number is definitely against their rules, but it's their fault not yours.

I finally just decided to put another pin (the one I tried to delete) back in, so I wouldn't have a duplicate on my RSP. It was a 'fix' to the situation, but not one I liked.

When I tried to delete my last pin choice, what happened to me is that I actually found a bug in their program. The user should be able to delete the last pin and have it STAY deleted...but that's not how filling out the RSP works. Yet.

I know it doesn't make much sense(especially to those who have been to a Pin Event before), but I just hadn't realized that DD wouldn't even be able to come in the door until the last day...and a vacation for our family is an opportunity to spend some *time* together. I did end up getting DD a ticket. I figure she'll be able to come and go, maybe trade for some pins, get her snack & the gift-cards.

Just remember, if the RSP gods do grant you that pin on your RSP that you don't want, you can call event services and tell them to take it off your order. You don't have to buy it if they give it to you.
