*PUSH* No seriously, I need to exercise too (and am goofing off online )! But I haven't exercised since I got sick two weeks ago. I think I'll start with the Elliptical machine for thirty than The Biggest Loser Workout DVD (which will kick my butt) for another thirty!
did you girls get your workouts in? i had trouble yesterday too but buckled down and did it. i'm in a summer exercise weight challenge with my buddy group and if i didn't finish out my week i would've had to give each of the (3) a $5 gift card! that motivated me, and the fact that i couldn't let them finish the first week triumphant and not myself!
LOL, I did manage to get on the ellicipal for 15 minutes at 1 am last night/this morning. I felt terrible so I stopped and went to bed. Now I should be exercising and all I want ot so is go and lay down. I got to stop goofing off and get into it!
Try the 10 minute rule - do Something for at least 10 minutes when you don't feel like it and if it is still horrible after those 10 minutes, bag it. If not get 'er done then!
How you doing Paula? I have to admit--it is hard to just go out and do it, but once you do, you feel much better.
I did another 60 minutes today.
I started by doing the Biggest Loser Cardio Blast Workout and let me tell you--my DBF decided to join me for the first time and he was sweatin' and pantin' and he actually had to drop his weights, but I appreciate him doing it, it's something fun to do together.
Then I did another 30 minutes on the Elliptical machine.
Let me tell you--my DBF looked at me like I was crazy when I said I was going out to do that! But--I wanted to get my 60 min in!
I have several of the Leslie Sansone, Walk Away the Weight DVDs. I either do the 3 mile (47mins.) or the 4 mi. ( 1hr+).....6 days a week. I am not always "in ther mood" to exercise, but always feel great afterwards! I force myself to workout as soon as I get home from work, because once my rear-end hits a chair (at night)....I'm done for and would definantly avoid any physical activity.
I agree with the 10-minute rule. I LIVE by it, actually!
In fact, just today I was feeling crummy and not much in the mood to run. So I told myself that I could just do a short run today. At the 10-minute mark I decided I could do just another 10....and then another....and so on. I ran 8 miles today. That is a record for me. And I didn't feel like doing it at all this morning, so keep with it!
