So, I can report that at last, I can modify!

MS has “lost” 18 of our GCV points in the same membership for some reason, but I guess that is a new and exciting issue!

When experiencing the issue of a VGC contract not being recognized for home resort I also got a bit concerned about point totals. I have a general tabulation in my head but............

Yes, if you modify a reservation or cancel and rebook something else plus with borrowing and banking it starts to get very convoluted on the website. I've done spreadsheets to work my way thru it in the past.

I have gotten in the habit of screenshots each time of the points summary. Easier to follow.

I do the same.

As I now have multiple contracts and the system doesn’t make it easy to see where your points are being used, I started tracking it in a simple spreadsheet. But I still take the screenshots just in case.

With my contracts all being new within the last year and them mostly all coming with extra points, I dug myself into a hole and its hard to get out of it (data keeping wise)

I do the same. I screenshot the "Points Details" on every reservation and modification I make.

I also keep a spreadsheet of what I banked and borrowed for each contract so I know X points need to be used before the current UY allotment.

Do you keep good track of your reservations and whats has been used on what?

I do. We have so many points, contracts, memberships, and use years that keeping track is an Olympic sport for me.

How do you know that they are lost? I mean how do you track that they are lost?

Well, we had 18 in the current UY for that contract and after the call to modify an AKL membership across UYs, the GCV points went poof. But the reservation was at AKL in the 11-month window.

Update: Found them. One of the people who was helping me to cross UYs appears to have banked the GCV points into 2026, likely after getting confused about how to cross the UYs. Where banking a totally different resort into the next UY without me requesting it comes into this, I have no clue, but at least I know where they went.
