Someday her Prince will come?

All of a sudden, our DD has started saying she is so excited that she will see "the prince" at WDW. She has been to WDW before. We have never seen a prince. We've seen just about all the princesses, multiple times, but no princes. Ok, maybe Aladdin once. I have no idea how she got it into her head that we're going to see "her prince." She's 4, she has an active imagination.

So, um, are there any princes anywhere we could possibly see during spring break (that aren't just on a float) that she could meet? We've got princesses covered (Akershus, CRT, and FP for Anna and Elsa) but I don't remember seeing princes anywhere, and I don't think I can convince her that Gaston counts.

Looking at the various character locators out there, it seems a Prince Charming spotting at 1900 Park Fare for dinner is somewhat likely, but not guaranteed. I also see Prince Naveen is sometimes on the schedule at Liberty Square Glade at Magic Kingdom. Your daughter is smart, Gaston is no prince...but Beast is.

The pp is correct, there are not many guaranteed places to meet princes at WDW. I lucked out once and had Snow White meeting with "The Prince" (how he signed) in Epcot, but that seems rare.

In your case, do you know if she means a specific prince or do you think any prince will do?

If any prince works, then I would try to meet Prince Naveen with Tiana in MK or make a dinner reservation for 1900 at GF (Prince Charming) or BOG at MK (Beast). It is never guaranteed that most characters will be at these places, but it

While, I persoanlly love Beast, the Prince Charming experience at 1900 Park Fare is amazing. My goddaughter, who is VERY shy, was trying to put her coat on, and her arm was stuck. PC rushed over to her from across the room to help her, was so sweet and funny with her and totally made our dinner special. Also, Cinderella will dance with the children and the Step Sisters are a blast.

Another vote for 1900 Park Fare! Prince Charming was, indeed, charming, and dusted the french fry crumbs elegantly off my son's shirt before their photo together. LOL. Lady Tremaine told us that she was an excellent step mother and taught Cinderella many valuable life skills. We met the step sisters and Cinderella, too. It was fun!

If she prefers the beast, you could make a dinner reservation at Be Our Guest and visit him in his study afterward. He's not there at lunch (unless that changes in the future.) We had 2 days at the MK in September and only saw Naveen on a parade float. Don't know where he was all day! Cindy's prince was the only one we met all trip, even though we met a gaggle of princesses.

Edited to add-we did meet Alladin. He was fun!

We just ate at 1900 PF for dinner a few weeks ago and Prince Charming wasn't there, and no one replaced him. Our 4 year old was disappointed because I had told her he would be there. So I don't think it is 100% that he will be there, unfortunately.

We did meet Alladin and Jasmine in Morroco in WS.

Prince Naveen is the only regular prince (if you don't count Aladdin, which I guess maybe you could?) who regularly meets in the parks vs. a restaurant. I believe he only starts meeting after the 3:00 parade, and only meets for a few hours. He is totally dreamy, though, so I totally recommend meeting him.

I'm another vote for Prince Naveen when he meets with Tiana. We caught them out together around 5:00 one evening (after 3 failed attempts at meeting Tiana, I was thrilled with the bonus of Naveen). The character interaction was amazing.

Maybe ask her which Prince or where she saw him. You never know with kids. She may have seen Mickey in his prince outfit and is thinking of that or something similar.

I agree that your best bet to see a prince is either Prince Charming at 1900PF, the Beast at BOG (dinner), Prince Naveen (MK), and Aladdin (Epcot, though he's not in his Prince Ali outfit). Sometimes folk report being lucky and see some other princess/prince combination together, but is usually when the characters are training for MNSSHP or MVMCP (I was there in October in 2014 and saw Aurora and Prince Phillip training in Epcot a few times - probably getting ready for MVMCP).

Maybe ask her which Prince or where she saw him.

4 year olds are hard to pin down LOL.

At 4 DS went on tower of terror (because he wanted to and was tall enough) at DCA, and even though he knew we had come off the ride safe and sound, he was CERTAIN that we had died and turned into blue skeletons, and he wouldn't ride again for years because of that. Could not convince him we hadn't died, even though we were all very much alive and having the conversation!

That said, the "where she saw him" part could be a good way to start figuring it out.

Be sure to watch the FoF parade. Prince Phillip and the dragon are great! We've seen Prince Naveen in the evening at MK behind the Christmas shoppe at the M&G locaton. Seen Aladdin at Epcot and MK. At DHS you can see the prince at B&B show. F! has some princes.

And MVMCP has princesses with their princes. MNSSHP stopped the princes last year, so there's no telling if they will be there next year or not?

We too saw Prince Charming at 1900 PF. But you are right, not really many opportunities to meet the princes, which is a shame. My son loved meeting Aladdin at Goofy's Kitchen in CA, he really made the boys feel more comfortable. We also have met Prince Naveen with Tiana.
Hope your DD finds her Prince!:)
