Okay, it's snowing again in Boston. We are getting about a foot! I can't take it anymore! I'm actually looking for flights for April vacation. I'm crazy Number 1, I can't afford it, Number 2, we are going to WDW for 15 nights in June/July, number 3, my husband won't go for it, Number 4, I won't be able to take the time off work, and once again, back to the number 1 reason, I CAN'T AFFORD IT!!! Why do I do this to myself? Somebody stop me!

Are they saying a foot south of Boston ? I'm at work, 20 miles from home.....wishing I was not 9 months away from going home to SSR.....

Just go. Get out of this God-forsaken frozen state....

DVCcurious, I am west of boston (framingham) and we are getting a foot. I wish I could go now but there is nooooo way. DH just totally shot me down. I know he's right but its so hard to stop dreaming when the weather is like this!!!

We just got back last night. We are now getting lake effect snow showers 6-9 inches. The last thing I saw before leaving our room at OKW was the weather upper 70's and sunshine for the next 5 days. Man, I wish I had stayed. One of these vacations I will. I'm just going to walk down and say " Book me for 7 more days, I'm stayin ".

I share your pain, immensely!
I'm in Medford,MA and just check the weather and they said 5-8 inches here, and some parts on the state (like Worcester county) are getting 6-12 inches!!
I really can't wait for my first trip 'home' next month. 5 more weeks to go, until then we'll be shivering in this ridiculous state of ours!

I'll tell you all about it when I get back. And I will say a prayer that my fellow DVC'rs (especially) on the east coast are having decent weather while I'm gone!

Pa@OKW had an idea.... cancel the trip this summer - go now for the beautiful weather! Is that at all possible? I'd be the spontaneous type and do it!

we're slightly south of worcester and already have about 6in on the ground! oh joy.

i agree, go in winter. we go in january and it really helps the cabin fever.

btw it's great snow for making snowmen

I know how you feel! It seems like it will never stop snowing here in Ohio (at least we only get a couple of inches at a time). It makes me want to plan more trips also. I am thinking of even not buying passports for our cruise since they are not a necessity so that we can have money to go toward another WDW trip!

I wish it were as easy as Pa makes it sound, but we just can't take the kids out of school as they miss way too much
I feel your pain MagikMom and all you other New Englanders. We've even had enough snow/ice/cold here in the Philly area. I'm so ready to feel warmth and see green grass ! Our spring is often very slow to warm up as I'm sure yours is also. It just seems like 75% of the year is too cold for my liking.....I was born in the wrong state !!! Once the kids are older, my dh and I will be planning all of our DVC trips in Jan/Feb. Hope you can work something out MagikMom and maybe change the ressie. Good luck !

Don't count on every year - you're bound to be disappointed. Realistically, you can only expect to win once every 5-6 years, as you can see by my signature.

I know, I do try to be realistic. I am still just basking in my championship. Myself and my family and New Englanders everywhere waited so long for it!
