Well, I know it is too late for this instance, but for next time. PLEASE.
DS's daycare is having 'theme days' asll week, because it is our Spring Break week (read school vacation) Well, they combine the school age kids with the Kindergarteners for vacation weeks. Tomorrow is Western/Cowboy day. We were talking to DS's teacher tonight before we left, and we were mentioning the only real Western thing we have is his Sherriff Woody doll. So his teacher said, oh, I have some cow pattern material in the closet, I can give you some, and you can make him a little vest. And, in some bizzaro, Twilight Zone moment, I agreed!!! I am the least (THE LEAST) crafty, creative, talented person you know. Trust me on this, I know of what I speak.
SO here I sit, with 4 pieces of flannel, cut out, and pinned, in the general shape of a vest, and wondering how I will get it all together for the morning. Duct Tape? Iron on seam tape? Hand Sew them? Ack!!!
The next time ANY of you see or hear me agree to do anything crafty, please link me back to this thread, and bop me upside the head. Please and Thank You.
Off to find needle and thread.

I am sure it looks great.
My cooking is better but lets just say that cleaning is my forte.
