Could somebody please provide some ideas on how to talk to someone who is "in charge" like a supervisor at either the Walt Disney Travel Co or Disney Cruise Lines. Both of these companies seem to use people who work from home which is prob why everything got screwed up in the first place.
Way back when I first booked my vacation with DCL, I informed them that I wanted to do the land and sea with dining. Of course, we all know that is impossible so I was instructed by DCL to book my land part separately with WDTC and do not mention to either party that you have booked the other part.
All was fine and I made our deposits to both companies. Then a few months later my brother passed away and I was out of it for awhile but kept making the payments as invoiced by DCL. Now altho the land and sea are the same week, the DCL invoice was due a month before the land. We never got another invoice from the WDTC after our deposit and I noticed that our Grand Floridian stay now showed up on the DCL invoice and looked right so I figured they just combine them for convience at the end was we paid it off and received notices that it is paid in full, zero balance.
Today I am being bombarded with messages from WDTC that our reservations are about to be cancelled for non-payment. Well lo and behold somehow the DCL got our info and combined it and invoiced us and we paid them the money that is actually due to WDTC. Guess what? They can not "send" the money over to them but rather have to refund a gazillion credit card payments. We're talking about 7 cruises and stays at the GF. I used all 5 of my credit cards to make these payments for all my older family members...now all my cards are jammed up,i can't use them and I have to remake all these payments. Interestingly, both companies have reservations for us with different numbers. I don't know how this happened but I feel I should get a little something for my trouble which was much more than a little. I really want to talk to someone who cares but don't know how to do that.

Not sure this will help but hope it will:
online---WDW.guestcommunications@disneyworld.com

or can write them:WDW Guest Communications PO 10040 Lake Buena Vista FL 32830

It is customary with a refund to refund the credit card and rebook and re pay. as I have had to change things around before. I have never in 30 years had a problem with WDW not refunding my money so you can relax on that part.

e-mail may be quicker but that can be a turn around time of two days but they will get back to you. Also have had good luck with asking for a supervisor anytime when calling WDW Travel direct.

I would suggest that you call the number you have been and ask to speak to a supervisor. They should transfer you, but you may need to explain the situation to them first. If the supervisor you talk to can't help you then you may need to ask for someone else that will be able to help you. "If you are not able to assist me in resolving this problem, please transfer me to someone that can." Be polite but assertive.

If your reservation has now been transferred to the cruise line and all payments are made that way do you not have a GF reservation through them? Are you double booked right now? Once with DCL and once with WDTC? It sounds like if that is the case you can just keep the reservation with DCL and let the other one drop -- but be sure that is the case!

Unfortunately it does usually take about 10-14 days for a refund to show up on your credit cards. I am also not sure that there is anything they will do to make up for your trouble, you may need to just be satisfied with having the situation resolved and your vacation the way you had planned it.

Also be sure you have talked to WDTC and see if they can put notes in your account on what is happening and if they can delay canceling it until you have time to work this out. You may need to speak with a supervisor there also.

Good luck! Sending you lots of pixiedust: Let us know what happens. :)
