Allegedly, the Governor is resigning.

we have 2 mayors in jail (waterbury/bridgeport) maybe a 3rd too? (i lost count)

and our govenor stepped down last month.

The twist is that there are allegations of homosexual sexual harrassment by the Governor, perhaps the result of blackmail by one of the players in the latest fundraising scandal.

They are talking about it on NJ101.5 talk radio. There is supposed to be a news conference at 4:00.

He hasn't been a very popular governor!

I know some people here in NJ that have said for years he's gay. Apparently the weekend he broke his leg he was with another guy in Cape May

This is of course just speculation....interesting how wife #1 was shipped out of the country to Canada.

I've met the Governor, and he is very personable. I am a Democrat, and I have found him to be a disappointing Governor. My Dad is a Republican who has known McGreevey for years and has always liked him personally. We are both sad about this for many reasons.

Political scandal is an everyday thing here, but in NJ it is usually about money and abuse of influence, not sex.

I am amazed at how self-destructive so many powerful people become.
