Some time questions and Twighlight Checkin

We are hoping (weather, traffic etc permitting) to travel down Thursday evening and take advantage of the Twighlight Check-in. We will then spend the evening in the Gatwick Travel Inn. Can anyone tell me, will we be able to part at the Travel Inn and how long will it take in the morning to get from T/I to South Terminal long stay car park to the check in desk. Are there buses from the car parks to the Terminal building, and will we be able to take all of our luggage on them? Any advice/experiences appreciated.

We've stayed at the Travel Inn on two previous occasions and used Twighlight check in as you plan to do.
Yes you can Park at the Travel Inn on the night you're staying.In the morning it takes approx 10-15 min driving time to get to and park up at the long stay car park. You then need to leave enough time to catch the shuttle bus to the terminal and get yourselves to the departure gate ( best leave at least 20 -30 min).

You can take all your luggage on to the shuttle buses however if you are using the twighlight check-in you will only have hand luggage to carry in the morning.

Make sure you arrive at the Twilight check-in in plenty of time - apparently the system shuts down at 21.00 and even if you still happen to be in the queue to check in at this time you will not be allowed to - as happenend to us due to a delayed fligth from Manchester

Is it definately 21.00 that twilight check in closes? I thought it was 19.00 and our flight down from Edinburgh doesnt land until 18.25!!!
Please let me be wrong.

Check in does close at 9.00 p.m. so you should be ok.

It is so relaxing the next day, you just go through departures without the stress!!!
