I don't know if it looks like "run of the mill" timeshare so much as it looks more like the furnishings belong in the Boardwalk Villas. They seem a bit too "fancy" for the Key West vibe. I always think of dark furnishings as more formal....
I haven't been to Key West in years....literally since I was a kid so probably close to 40 years, so I have no "current knowledge" of Key West other than the "vibe" I get from Jimmy Buffett music.

"Dark" just doesn't come into my mind when I think Key West.
Maybe they were going for the "Ernest Hemingway" look?
