I just made an adr for Teppan Edo. They only had a 3:45 p.m. ressie for lunch. No dinner available. I looked on all ear and they only show one menu for Teppan Edo. Does than mean that the lunch and dinner menu are the same?

Also, my kids are very picky. Two of them will not even eat chicken fingers. Will they make mac and cheese or grilled cheese?

I really want to try this place but only if the kids can eat something too.

I'm not sure they would even have the ingredients on hand for grilled cheese or mac and cheese. It might be possible for them to get it from elsewhere. I think you need to see if you can find that info from them. There wasn't any real western alternative for kids from what I remember.

My son enjoyed his kids meal there a lot (he'll eat rice until he explodes - please do not try this at home) and loved eating mine too, but he is very keen on that type of food. Which is funny as he is super picky with American kids food (He's first generation American with two very white, very British, parents so it's not like he's used to Asian food) I think he had teriyaki chicken, which came with plain rice (in a super cool Bullet Train) Would they eat plain meat with rice? The dinner is pretty fun for kids to watch as the chef goes about his business.

My experience was with two rented children that I was told were "picky eaters" and we went to (then) Teppanyaki anyway. Well, long story short the kids loved the food and the atmosphere so much that they became life long fans of Japanese food.

Fast forward 22 years and I am taking rented child #1's first born son on his WDW trip. And guess where we're going to eat? Yup, Teppan Edo.

Kids need to be taught to be adventurous to some extent. Doesn't always work, but is worth a try.

We have eaten there with on picky eater and one that was upset should could order lobster. The Picky child loved it and have eaten in WI at a couple Japanese places and will be going back in about 26 days. This time with 7 children and 4 adults but none of the kids are picky anymore. They eat/try everything. We got very luck.

my daughter will just about devour anything but anyhow the kids meals is nice...one came in on a monrail type tray...
