We just booked the $139 rate for December so we're pretty excited!!! :Pinkbounc

A few questions though -
Is the grotto pool heated?
What are the pool hours?
I have registered at SPG.com previously- do I need to call back and give them my membership number?
Can you walk to Epcot or MGM from here?

The grotto pool is heated, theoretically, but because of the water circulating through the waterfall, it is much cooler than the other pools. The spring pool and the lap pools are quite comfy.
Lifeguard hours vary, according to season, but you can swim at any time. The slide is closed off when the lifeguards go off duty.
You can call the Swan and have your SPG number added to your reservation.
You can walk to both Epcot and MGM. It takes us about 15 minutes to walk to Epcot. We've never walked to MGM, but it is a longer walk than Epcot.
Hope you have a wonderful stay. I love the Swan!

I registered with spg after making my reservation, too. Should I call and add the number, or can I just tell them when I get there?

You can do either--call and have it noted on your reservation or just show the card when you get there.
I always call--I figure it can't hurt with upgrades--and, there's only been one stay (out of about 20) when I didn't get upgraded. Was it the number on hand or just plain good luck? Who knows??
