Some Recent Pics of me, John and my mom

The one in my signature was taken when we were about 21 or so....so they are about 10 years old....these were taken a little over a year ago in D. C.

See I'm not as skinny as I was But I'm getting back there!!

John and my mom look exactly the same as they always have!

LOL! Yes but I didn't know you that well then! Now is a totally different matter. I tell you we are discussing coming back up the east coast and I'm calling Leota when we get to New York and then I'll call you in D.C.

We love love D.C. My dad was a huge Republican (don't throw darts..lol) and he had many friends in the Agricultural Department so while he played at politics we always got to sight see! I have some pics of John-Cole playing outside of the Lincoln Memorial that I'll have to scan later. It was so funny here we are in D. C. with all the history all around us and my son is having more fun playing in the leaves!

The only place we never made it to that I heard wonderful things about is Potomic something...oh my mind is blank its supposed to be a shopping place Potomic Mills?????

This was a trip we took after daddy had passed away. We went up to Niagra Falls, down through N.Y. and then to D.C. down into Virginia Beach and then to Ashville N.C. and Gatlinburg TN. Pigeon Forge and home.

Potomac Mills is an outlet mall that is about 30 minutes or so outside of the city. Its a great place for deals, but you need to get there early and have good walking shoes on!

Well actually I have gained some back since those pics....well I actually gained about 50 pounds or so since those pics...but I'm almost back down to the size I am in those...the current ones, not the young ones (I can only dream to be back down to the size in the younger ones!! A size 10...WOW! I can't even imagine a size 10!! I will be just fine with a 14 or heck a 16!!)

But I did buy 2 size XL shirts from the regular department at Pennys last night....to say I was happy is an understatement.


I think looking at the older pictures are helping to inspire me though. I'm going to take the one from Hot Springs and put it on the fridge so when I'm hungry I'll look at it and drink MORE WATER!!!!!!

I don't know too many people that look the same way they did 10 years previous. Maybe John and your mom are the only 2 people in the world that do. (10 years ago I was a month away from giving birth to my dd, I hope I've changed some in the last 10 years )

I agree Shannon, I have a picture of my mom 2 months before she had me so thats 31 years ago and she looks exactly the same except her hair is in a higher beehive than she wears it now. John has changed only in the fact that he has gone from a size 28 (as you can see in that Hot Springs picture when we were about 16) to a size 32 in the D.C. pics and if he doesn't watch it he will be in a size 34 soon.

Now as for me, I have gone from a size 10 (the Hot Springs Pics at age 16) to a size 14 (the picture in my signature at age 21...John-Cole was 2 then) to a size 18 which I am in those D.C. pics....up to my all time high a size 26 which I was about 5 months ago and now I'm back down to a size 18-20 just a bit bigger than the D.C. pics. I won't even start to think that its possible to get back to the 10 but I sure am aiming for the 14 again. As for my hair its the same as in those pictures now but its been curled and dyed and all that before too...LOL!!!
