People who are wealthy are no different than you or I, until you get into Billionaire status--and even then many are still just normal Joes.

The truly wealthy people I know (including one family who does fall well into the Billionaire category) are no different than us "regular" folks. They even take their kids to McDonald's for a cheeseburger and some time in the playplace.

I used to know a few wealthy families. The only really big differences that I saw is that they had people shop for them most of the time and they had no idea how much a lot of things cost.

Excuse me? I said these were people I know. Not people I'm friends with, not my personal net worth. My bet is that many of you know people in the same range of net worth and don't even realize it.

As far as credit cards go, this is what I know: I have a friend that is a waiter at one of the most expensive, most elite restaurants in Maryland that regularly serves some of the wealthiest and most famous people in the area (business men and sports stars mostly)....he told me that the biggest sign of a multi-millionaire is the Am Ex Black card. These are really, really rare and really, really elite If you ever see anyone whipping one out to pay for something, you know that they're EXTREMELY loaded lol. So anyway, I would hazard a guess that most rich and famous people use their Am Ex Black card most of the time. It's totally a status symbol thing. I highly doubt that most of the truly elite rich and famous even have credit limits.

One of the richest people I know (he's a self-made multi-millionaire and a total moron BTW) regularly charges $100,000 on his Am Ex per month (and he never carries a balance either).

...me? Well, I'm just happy with my pathetic little Am Ex Blue card
