Some quick ???s - 1st trip to Vero this week

We're leaving for our first trip to Vero Beach next week (after a few days at WDW) and I have a few questions:

1. Is there a good supermarket near the resort?

2.. What kind of coffee filters do I need for the room?

3. Can you borrow children's life jackets and swim noodles at the pool?

4. Can you borrow or buy pails and shovels?

If you are following the directions from Orlando you will pass a super Walmart and a Publix (or Windixie) on your way to the resort. You may be able to rent life jackets from Eb and Flow but as far as noodles and buckets I do not remember being able to rent them. At one time for breakfast you could order a sand bucket of donut holes and keep the bucket. I'm not sure if they are still doing that. I will be there in May but I think you will be there before me. Have a great stay!

This is the store we use. Directions are from Vero DVC. Go back over Rt 510 to US 1 North. Watch for Publix on southbound side. You'll have to reverse direction and go RT 1 South to reach it. Good luck. This is the closest store I am aware of.

Basket coffee filters. The kids lunch from bleachers comes in a pail with a shovel. We love the Publix on RT 1 near the hotel. No clue about lifejackets kids are to old for life vests
We have made 5 trips with the kids over the past 5 years. Great Resort ENJOY

3. Can you borrow children's life jackets and swim noodles at the pool?

They have life vests (great ones) right at Ebb and Flows desk - right by the pool.

I can't remember if anyone had noodles but one morning after some activity (slide races or something) the CMs gave every kid a big blow up fish for the pool.

4. Can you borrow or buy pails and shovels?
If you order a kids meal, it comes in a bucket with a shovel.
