I haven't had a chance to try and convience dh to stay in a Disney hotel for Sunday (11/25) night. Before I try and plead my case, I need to get as many details as possible so he will see that Disney is the place to be.

1. Do the Disney hotels charge for parking?
2. If we check out on Monday (11/26), can we leave the car at the hotel for the day while we are in the park?
3. Because we are staying in a DL hotel for one night, how do we get EE on Monday morning?

After doing lots of research, I'm about to go crazy and have decided that the original hotel I've booked isn't the best choice. Now I'm trying to figure out the best area to stay for the 3 nights before DL. :confused3

5. How can I tell if a hotel charges for parking?
6. Originally we were going to go to stay in the Universal area and go to Universal park but I think I'll push for 2 days at Disney instead. Now I don't know what area to look for a hotel in. Is it better to stay near Disney but offsite or go to a different area like Burbank? :confused3

Yes they charge like a 10.00 resort fee per day to stay onsite. Yes, you can leave your car there all day until you leave. When you check in, they will hand you a slip of paper that shows you are staying onsite for EE. You show this at the DL entrance and you are in!!! :yay:

I'm sorry I don't know too much about where to stay near Burbank. :guilty:

I don't know about the parking but one big seller for my husband for us to stay at the resort hotels is that if you buy anything (except food items) in the park you can have them delivered to your hotel the following morning so no carrying around bags of shirts, hats etc.

The resort fee is included in your total charge...I don't think it's negotiable, so you could always give DH the bottom line, since parking is "included".

You can park until midnight the day you check out (at least that's what they told us at Paradise Pier in September). Very convenient.

If you're going to Disneyland for 2 days, stay in the Disneyland area. Did anyone give you this map yet? http://www.geocities.com/ashpsyche/DisneylandLinkMap.html The Disney hotels are over on the left of the map, and most of the convenient offsite hotels are on the right.

Of course, if you have a very early morning flight out of Burbank (I think you mentioned that in another thread, or I'm confusing you with someone else)...well only you can decide if you'd rather check in somewhere closer to the airport at night and only sleep there, or if you'd rather sleep closer to D'land and wake up earlier for the flight. :)

In room wired DSL Internet access is included in the daily resort fee and free WIFI access is available in the public parts of the hotel (lobby, etc).

This is true for PP, but I'm not sure about the other two Disney Hotels. I would imagine they're the same.

One week and counting until our next visit (staying at PP again), yippie!!

A bonus is that the public area wireless waves don't know what doors are, so we got wireless access in our room on the 10th floor. :) Someone else mentioned they got it in their 14th floor room, too.
