I am looking at trying some new restaurants for dinner when my family and I go in August. I am thinking of trying the Crystal Palace. Can someone tell me about the Dinner menu? I have 3 kids (10,7 and 2). My oldest is picky and likes plain pasta and pizza. Is this served there? And finally how is it? I know their are characters. But, my kids won't mind if they don't meet them.

We really enjoyed out dinner there in January and we plan to return in October.

I don't think they had plain pasta, but they had cheese pizza, chicken strips, etc. in the kids area. There are plenty of choices - my DS can be picky but he found several things there that he enjoyed.

DH and I both enjoyed the food - I thought the desserts were terrific! The only thing I didn't care for was the chicken because it tasted like smoke - I just don't like that flavor.

The characters (Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet) each came to our table for a photo and autograph, and Piglet led a little parade around the restaurant. Our server was very nice and kept the used plates cleared and our drinks filled. We thought it was lovely. :)

Our family has eaten here every year since we started to go to Disney World!

We really enjoy the characters! The best advice I can give you is to be patient with the characters. It takes a long time for them to get around the restaurant.

As for the food, I think it is enjoyable. Although I will admit that I often eat from the kid's table, as well. In March/April, they had chicken fingers and pizza. I'm sure your kids would love the ice cream, as well!

Enjoy! :)

We just returned from WDW and celebrated my DS's 4th birthday at CP. They had chicken strips and mac and cheese on the child's buffet. I don't remember them having pizza though. They did have turkey, prime rib, chicken and salmon on the adult buffet though. It took a long time for all 4 characters to get around to our table, but my kids loved it.

We LOVE the Crystal Palace. It's a MUST do on our last day of the trip . . . every trip!! I have three picky eaters 16, 10 and 8, they each find something to eat that they like. I know they have pizza. Did you consider breakfast?? There will definately be something there that they like! Have FUN!! :cloud9:

We love the Crystal Palace! The food is great and it was one of the best memories of our last trip. We have made a PS for our next trip this September. Our family highly recommends it, especially with kids.
