We are going to WDW in January. We have always bought 5 day hopper passes but this time we would like to go to Seaworld and Universal. What is the difference between the 3 day hopper and the 4 and 5 day one. I know Disney doesn't sell the 3 day hopper but I have seen it mentioned a few times on this site.

I've gotten such great advice/tips from all of you, so I hope you will be able to help me with this!!

Thanks!! :flower1:

I think the only difference is the days. If I'm wrong, I'm sure someone has the exact differences. :teleport:

The difference is the days and the price. :earboy2:

I realize that they would be cheaper and less days----do they not expire if you don't use the days, like the 4 and 5 day hopper. Sorry I did not make myself clear!!

Some of the 3 day hoppers - like the one you would get from discountorlandovacations are a 3 day hopper with Disney Quest or Pleasure Island admission as the extra. They expire in 10 days from the first day of use. I am not sure if the 3 day hopper that Alamo has is the same way.

When you register with them, they will send you a link with their specials. They offer 2 day hoppers. 3 day hoppers with the plus or without the plus and those days never expire and they also offer a 3 day hopper that does expire for cheaper.

We just received our 2 day hoppers from them, they look identical to the 5 or 7 day ones we had in the past but show the number of days on the back.

The 3-day hoppers you get from Alamo (and sometimes from ticket brokers like Ticketmania or Maple Leaf) are normal, non-expiring hoppers, just like the 4-day and 5-day hoppers you can get from teh Disney Store. Sometimes you can even get 3-day Park Hopper PLUS passes from TicketMania when they run specials; the PLUS can be used for a water park admission, Pleasure Island, or Disney's WWOS complex.

The only difference between these passes and the ones from the Disney Store is thier number of days and the fact that passes less than 4-day are not sold retail from Disney; they can only be bought from brokers or travel agents. Some off-site hotels also offer them when you check in or as part of a package.
