Some Pins . . . What Were They Thinking ?!?

I think Disney artists are among the most talented and imaginative people. Their creativity is demonstrated again and again in film, sculpture, pins, and many other media.

But every now and then I see something that makes me wonder.

I came across this soon-to-be-released DA PIN:

I don't know what others may think, but I actually think the figure on the right is <i>Prince Philip <b>in drag!</b></i>

Would anyone else like to share another <i>what were they thinking</i> pin ?

That is Exactly who I thought it was; but then realized there was a gown attached, so it figured they must have wanted it to be her mother the Queen.................only thing I can figure is they don't know what she looked like, so they just put Phillip's face on her body.

When I first opened this thread, I saw the top part of the picture from the arms up. The first thing that came to my mind was the Aerosmith song "Dude Looks Like a Lady."

Then I see it's for Mother's Day?????? YIKES!!!!!

What's really weird is that it almost looks like the two of them are dancing.

Looks like Philip has been in for some "Botox" work. Those lips are just a little too full. Maybe...just maybe... the pin world has come full circle and the designers have run out of things and people to display as pins. Let's hope that's not the case!!!

Well -- as someone mentioned on another site I wonder why Bambi and his mother for a Mother's Day pin. Seems a sad choice when Bambi's mother was gunned down shortly into the movie.
