My DD5 started collecting pins the last time we were in WDW about 3 years ago. Since then her collection has grown due to family members and friends bringing them back for her. My DS3 just got a few also and is going to trade for the first time when we go in less than three weeks.

I recently purchased a few pins on eBay for them to use as traders.

My questions are:

1.) Has anyone seen any Phineas & Ferb pins at all? I can not find them and my son is a huge fan.

2.) What is the safest way to get our traders to Florida? I am shipping a USPS package with snacks, diapers, that type of stuff in the next week. Should I include those in that package?

3.) What color lanyards do the CM's, that only trade with kids, wear? I hve heard various reports on this. Is it green?

We already plan on getting a Jasmine Birthday pin for my daughter who is celebrating while we are there. Our hope is to have Jasmine deliver it to her while we are at breakfast on her birthday in Cinderella's Castle? Anyone ever hear of characters doing things like this?

BTW, I am soooo ready for this vacation to get here, it is unbelievable!

They do have Phineas & Ferb pins not sure how many different styles but I do know I have a couple.

I am not sure how hard it is to travel with Pins on a plane. They do weigh alot it might cost you more to fly with them. Since your already sending stuff down your probably gonna ship Flat Rate? If so just add the pins same price up to like 75 lbs.Make sure you put them in a ziplock or something to protect incase something breaks inside and gets all over.

CM's have Teal(DLR) and Green(WDW) for the children that are 3-12.

I would call and ask to speak with a manger of the Restaurant I'm sure they wouldn't mind doing something that easy since your spending a fortune to eat there. Doesn't hurt to ask.

Have a good time enjoy it.

Jason,

Don't know. Go to pinpics.com and do a search on Phineas & Ferb. That will show you what they look like if they exist.

2.) What is the safest way to get our traders to Florida? I am shipping a USPS package with snacks, diapers, that type of stuff in the next week. Should I include those in that package?
Not a bad idea. Above all else don't put them in checked luggage. If you don't ship them, take them in your carry on luggage.

3.) What color lanyards do the CM's, that only trade with kids, wear? I hve heard various reports on this. Is it green?

Kid's only lanyards are green! As for the breakfast, never heard it being done, but ask at the restaurant...They like to do things that make the time special, so maybe they will.

Hi Jason

1. I have seen Phineas & Ferb pins but the are rare, watch lanyards and you might get lucky. We had some and we used them as traders. Of course we don't go to WDW, we do DL but you might find some. The suggestion of using pinpics is a great one, you'll be able to see what's out there if you use them.

2. I would ship them down, it will be easier/safer for you. If you do take them put them in your checked luggage in a large Ziploc that you can take out of your bag, take them out and send them thru security out of your bag to avoid getting searched more thoroughly.

3. Kid lanyards are a teal green color, they will also have a tag hanging from the lanyard that says they are for kids 12 & under only.

4. DD9 had her bday at Ariel's Grotto in DCA (when she turned 7), I found the coolest musical card at Hallmark, it had Cinderella's carriage and when you opened it "A Dream Is A Wish" played. When we got there I asked the "handler" if it would be at all possible for Cinderella to sign it and give it to DD when she came to our table. She told me "the characters don't normally give things to guests but I can ask and see what she says, at the least I'll have her sign the card and I'll bring it to you table myself as a special delivery." Well, when Cinderella came to our table she said to DDthen7 "I hear it's your special day today so I brought you a little something." She gave DD the card and OMG, it was amazing....DD was thrilled beyond belief!!! So, my advice to you is ask, the most they will do is say they can't do it. Good luck! and have FUN!!!

In March my nephew traded for a Phineas and Ferb pin. Using pinpics I found out his pin is a scrapper. It does not have Disney in the bubble as shown in the scrapper pin vs real pin pictures from pinpics.

We just saw Phineas and Ferb pins in the parks last week. We are wishing they would come out with a Perry Pin!!!

I'm a dork, I just saw that I said to put them in a Ziploc in your checked bags, I meant in your carryon bag so you could take them out to go thru security. Sorry! :)
