I only carried my camera one day, since I wanted to travel light. I took maybe 10 pictures, nearly all of them on Tom Sawyer's Island. I'd never visited it before.

My brother, Jay, tries one of the rifles at the Fort.

I did like it.... I really liked the caves there. Some of those passages got narrow and dark....

We love Tom Sawyer Island. It's a great place for me to eat a snack from the backpack. I have to eat a lot, and this gives me a chance to sit down and enjoy the sights. We sat on a bench and watch ducks on a little pond for almost an hour. Very quiet. We were on the first raft over. We didn't find any paintbrushes, but we didn't look. We left that to the few kids that came over. It's such a nice quiet get-away. Thanks for the pics, they're great.

Thanks, Heather. Very nice pictures. TSI is such a neat, quiet place. I read where they are going to be closing for a time at some point to make the caves and tunnels compliant with the ADA.
