Hello everyone!

I was happy to be able to visit DLRP last week to meet up with some friends from the EPC Dept.

I was there for 2 days and despite the most awful weather on Tuesday it was still a fantastic trip.

It was great to be able to watch the parades from the side again, but made me realise how much I hate my job at the moment and just want to get back to DLRP as soon as possible, Damm Contracts! Roll on September when I am back at DLRP full time :Pinkbounc

Parks were quite quiet. Buzz had a queue all days but only from the inside door to the ride itself, and at the most 15 minutes.

So here are some photos from Tuesday/Wednesday last week!
Hover over the pics for some descriptions....

Enjoy!

Thank you for your pictures! Did you ride Buzz?? What did you think?

Thank you for sharing Tom, they are wonderful photos. :goodvibes

Glad you enjoyed yourself, September will soon be here! :yay:

thanks for the comments!

Yea I've ridden Buzz in total about 30 times. (Yes it that good!)

I love it it is so colourful, different, shiny and new and just so much fun.

Its just great.

I rode it about 15 times before the offical opening when I was working in the parades and managed a top score on one of those occastions of 459,000 which I haven't beaten since. However the girl who I was on the ride with, who often plays Belle in the park  , managed to get the top score of 999,999 on her first go by shooting that very secret hidden target. :woohoo:

But I still don't know where it is!

I'm going back to DLRP this weekend for a party and to apply for a job at Animagique so there may be more photos this time next week! Any requests??

Yes I would like to see the DLH! What is covered by scaffoldings??

Merci! :)

As you know already, the sleeping beauty dance troop is my absolute favourite ;) You have a close up of a guy (pic 24) he made us laugh last time because he messed up his steps and had to work so hard to control his giggles :lmao:

I have never seen a parade in the rain - doesn't seem quite the same!

You won't be going back into the parades then?

Hi Quack,
Philip in the photo came to the entertainment department from Space Mountain and wasn't a proffessional dancer, but I know when I made mistakes (not often :smooth: ) but I just laughed my head off to hide my embarressment :rotfl2:

Parades in the rain are not the same! The dancers and floats are cut and the running time is cut from 28 mins normal to about 24mins so the floats go by much faster. And certain dances are modified so they flow quicker, it is much harder to keep up and quite stressful trying to keep to the right pace with a float speeding towards you.

I much prefer the sunny days :sunny:

I am going back into the parades full time in September but also hope to work at Animagique at certain times. As there are so many staff in the entertainment dept (over 400) some days certain people are not required to come in, so most in the department also work at another location, Animagique/Tarzan/LOTK. So on days when we know we are not needed we can swap around and at least have the option work at other locations.

More secrets revealed :stir: :lmao:

I think he was even more fun to watch because of his fit of giggles (and the others in the troop started smiling too because of it :teeth: )

Do you hope to be performing in Animagique? We saw this twice on our last visit and really kicked ourselves for passing it by on our first visit to DLRP. It is such a fantastic show for little ones and grown-ups alike.

And natrually, your secrets are safe with us ;) :rolleyes1
