I know most people around here know not to try to buy Disney park passes on Ebay, but I just saw an auction for 12 FASTPASSES to Space Mountain. That had GOT to take the cake!

This person wants at least $50 for them and will sell them for $125!! Luckily no one has been taken in by this creep and there aren't any bids. :sad2:

There is a link somewhere on each bid post to report it to ebay...as well as off of the homepage.

I've wondered if anyone tries to do this, now I know!

If Disney would enforce the time frame of the fast pass this wouldn't be an issue

these are not time restricted Fast passes, they are no time frame, re-entry passes. This person got them in a deluxe package and did not use them and now is selling them. Not sure that is legal and definitely kinda scummy.

Unfortunately,if there are no names on the passes and no dates, then I don't see how they can prevent the person from selling them.

i see no problem with this. It's his right to do so unless it is expressed on the back of the passes not to resale or if he got this through employment at the park. Something is only worth as much as the fool who is willing to pay for it. Thats America folks.

I thought that there was a time frame on the passes. Don't they say return between __ and ___. After the hour window wouldn't they be unusable? If this were the case wouldn't people just get a fast pass after they ride on say splash moutain and then keep the pass until next time or the next day. They could do that for all the rides. That doesn't seem very fair. As for someone on ebay selling fastpasses, there shouldn't be anything against it. I am sure someone is probably selling the free soaps and shampoo from the hotel. I would just feel bad for the person buying them.

You can definitely use fast passes later than the hour window. We did that all week. However, I don't think Disney would take fastpasses from weeks or months before.

I suppose somebody who's going Christmas week might be willing to buy them. :confused3

Does anyone have a link? I can't find the listing, and I want to add it to my "watched items."

these are special fast passes. used incase a ride breaks down or as a free giveaway they are open ended. Most attractions people have these. It's basicaly here take these and stop complaining tickets. they ahve them for specific attractions as well as area attractions such as this is a fast pass good anytime for any tomorrowland attraction.

Yes people do sell the soaps and shampoo. :sad2:
But remember if there are people willing to buy then there are going to be people willing to sell.

Okay, I may of looked to far into this, but if you read the item description, it says that the seller bought them on E-Bay, but had to cancel his trip. So I looked at the seller's feedback, to find the original auction, and came up with these numbers.

The last buyer paid 127.50 for the lot of 12 Fast Passes, (that aren't just for Space Mountain, there for any MK attraction.)

The buyer who then sold them for 127.50, paid 5.24 for each one, so they cost him 62.88 for all of them.

That means that guy made 64.62 profit and some unknowing guy, lost over 100 just to get a few FP's, that he, (and I bet he doesn't know this,) can get for free in the park.

For me, that just makes it worse.

Sad but true. Someone that doesn't know any better and has never been to disney will think they are getting a deal. :(

We work for GM and get front of the line privilige on test track. They do not give this to us during extra magic hour but will give us fast passes for up to 6 ppl that are good till the end of the month. We were there in july and the passes said good till july 31 2006.

We used one of them that nite and gave Husbands pass away the last day that we were there to a family of five that was waiting in a very long stand by line. The family told us :thanks: over and over again and went over to the fast pass line.
