I know these are late, but I wanted to post some of the pictures I took at DIS-CON II, especially during the Who Wants to be a Millionaire meet. I had to scan in the pictures, and I'm still getting used to this image posting business!
I want to thank everyone who took the time to come out to the meet. We had a great (and enthusiastic!) turnout; well over 30 people at one point. We had a wonderful time, even though I didn't get into the hotseat!
This is a picture from the first show. I'm seated next to Towncrier, who made it into the hotseat during the second show. Don't know if he knew it or not, but I was in second place right behind him!
This is a group shot from the second show, I think. I believe that's Patrick with his arm in the air.
And the best group shot was right before the third show. We were allowed in a little early to root for Smee (Corinne), who is seated in the lower left. She was a carryover from the second show, and did quite well getting up to the 125,000 point question!
This is part of the group that came to the Beaches & Cream meet. I'm sorry I can't identify everyone. I'm terrible with names!
This a picture of one of the people we had the most pleasure of meeting that week, Ray Sharpton! He definitely helped put us in the holiday mood!
This is a group shot of some of the DISers that alternated between Rock 'n Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror on Thursday morning. The shot looks strange because it is being taken looking up from the ground, so you can't see this huge group of teenagers behind us!
And last, but not least, a shot of some of our pin trading buddies! This is Brisully (Brian), he's the one with the NYPD hat, and EpcotKilterFan (Deb) at the Spectacle of Pins event we attended on Saturday night at MGM Studios. We had a great time pin trading and spending too much money! We also had a private viewing of the Osborne lights.
