What was VMK Stories?

Who told you about VMK Stories? VMKS was an action-adventure game that we were developing as a possible addition to VMK, some of you got a peek at it when pictures of it got leaked by an industrious player who found a backdoor to the VMK Central computer

Agreed. I'm not all that happy that people would go into the database to find things out. Why not just let it be a surprise. But oh well, too late for that.

For the same reason that people post photos of Disney attractions and resorts under construction, and take backstage tours, and discuss rumors of what might be coming in the future.

Because, for some of us, the design and development process is even more fascinating than the finished experience! We like being able to look behind the scenes when we can.

There is an unanswered question on that thread... Is there a way to save Fireworks to your hard drive so you can play it whenever you want. Especially
after VMK closes!!

Unfortunately, I don't believe there's any way to play the minigames (Fireworks, Pirates, Jungle Cruise, etc.) outside VMK. When VMK goes away, the minigames will go too.

I'm not certain on this, so someone with some time and Shockwave know-how might be able to figure it out...

Alternately, it really wouldn't be hard for Disney to adapt several of the minigames to be playable outside VMK, so they could live on; but I really don't think Disney will bother.
