Please define "failed miserably".

I'm certainly no pro at this, but here's what I do:

  • Take notes during the trip. We took them using my wife's iPod Touch, so we can take them while waiting in the queues. Last year, we just tried to recall what we did when we got back to the resort each night. We were much more accurate this year. The more detail, the better, too.
  • Take A LOT of pictures. Take pics of your meals, too.
  • Come up with a catchy title. That's more than half the battle.
  • Save your receipts. It helps tremendously when trying to recall what you purchased during the trip.
  • Post replies on other people's TRs. It's free advertising :)
  • Get MEK to read it. She has about 10,000 friends on here, and if she likes your TR, you 're in :)
  • Finally, be yourself! Don't worry about whether you're a "good" writer or not, because it really doesn't matter. And have fun doing it. The more YOU enjoy it, the more frequently you'll post updates.

Hope this helps!

Ya being my self Is easy:rotfl2:, i would be horriable at being someone else:rotfl2:. Typing this I am alrady decideing on doing a log in stead of bringing a computer,i think i would try to do to much and get burn out to quickly. Love the idea of the pictures, now my DS yikes that may be another story:scared1: not a picture person

Actually, writing the TR "in character" would be a unique twist. I'm thinking either Flavor Flav or Johnny Rotten. Now THAT I would read ;)
