Hi all
Looking for some help please

We (I should say the wife and kids ) are thinking of a late deal to Disney leaving the end off next week and we are thinking of staying at one of Disney’s moderate resorts.
But I can’t book any Disney resort over the phone as it is within 10 days of travelling.

1. What is the best way to get a good rate at the resort desk if you don’t have a booking??

2. We will not know if we can get the time off work until Monday afternoon so will have no time to order park tickets before we go in case they don’t get hear on time.
I know that if we can get a Disney resort we can get the Disney tickets added to the room key.
But what do Disney charge for there tickets at the resort??

Also what’s the best way to purchase Disney tickets and multi park tickets in Orlando??

3 I will be hiring a car probably a full size or premium car from Sanford airport.
Am I better booking this before we fly with a travel agent?
Or over the phone
Or wait until we get there?
And also any tips on getting the best deal on a hire car and insurance ??

4. If for some reason we can’t get a Disney resort to stay inn what hotel do you recommend around the top end of ID

We usually book every thing well in advance (our 2007 trip is already booked )
so any help you can give me is very much appreciated.

Yes, try DU. I've never actually booked with them but have contacted them before in the past and they were very helpful.

Have you tried the US Expedia site - they have Disney resorts and you may be able to book through them.

Also what’s the best way to purchase Disney tickets and multi park tickets in Orlando?? Ticketmania are very competive in their pricing and i think you can pick the tickets from their offices...youd have to check this out on their website

I have a horrible feeling you will pay rack (full) rate if you just turn up and ask for a room.

Have you thought about Priceleine or one of the auction sites where you name your price??

I would try Disney again as I have booked 2 days before room only and I got AP rates ,


Check the web site as well

and book your car from here as it will be cheaper

is your holiday in 2007 within the next 12 months if so Annaual Passes might be the way to go

When I phoned Disney the operator told me he could not get a price from the 13th and as I had already tried the Disney website and it told me that I cannot check prices or book a resort hotel within 10 days of the booking date. I told the operator this and he said that this is possibly why he cant get the days I wanted on the system as it just to soon. I will phone again on Monday I might get lucky.

The Annual Passes sound good but unfortunately we are travelling out 07/07/2007 so the Annual Passes would run out mid holiday
