Some Help Needed

All you need to do is either telephone or email member services and tell them what you want to do. They will do everything for you.

If you have no points until June 2008 then you can't bank them until they go into your account on 1st June 2008. All you do is call member services any time after 1st June and up until 4 months before the end of your use year (end of Feb 2009) and ask to bank all or some of them.

If the contract you just bought has points now (which I'm guessing it does) and you don't wan to use them before 31st May 2008 call Member Services now and ask to bank them. They become locked away until 1st June 2008 and on that date you get the banked points plus your 2008 allocation. You can make reservations on them 11 months from when you want to visit but if the 2007 points are banked that visit can't be until they are released back into your account on 1st June 2008.

When you make a reservation you use your banked points first, then your 2008 points. If you have any 2008 ones left over then you can bank them,# into 2009.

Thanks for all the info. I have 160 points just now and want to bank them as I will be going back to OKW in July. Can I also ask where did you get the signature.

I think there's a collection of signatures on the US board, but I can't remember where.
I'm sure someone will help you though.

You can also bank you points on the DVC website just log on and go to my points and take it from there.

Then you should call MS and bank them now. As you are going in July you can also make your reservations at OKW now as well

I got my signature over on the US DVC boards there are quite a few different ones over there

To be quite honest I dont really know as I am not sure about how to book all the seperate resorts. I will be spending at least 1 week there but would like to stay at the boardwalk as well.

Booking separate resorts is really easy. Just book your entire stay at OKW so you are guaranteed to have somewhere to stay then at the 7 month window call MS and ask if they have availability at the resort you want to transfer to. If they have they will transfer the nights you want to the new resort and leave the remaining nights at OKW.

So far we've stayed at all of them except SSR (which just doesn't appeal to us) and they are all lovely

If I book all at OKW then then at 7 months I can change some of the dates to whatever is avaliable. If I my holiday is23 July but then cant get flights will I be able to change the whole holiday to the date I can get my flights.

You should be able to as you can change any reservation (subject to availability) How late are you going to leave it before booking the flights? I think the 7 month window for 23rd July starts around 24th December so you might want to have your flights booked by then.

Well thats the points banked, and now Ive managed to book OKW for next year. Been told that if i want to change to the boardwalk for 3 days of my holiday then I need to phone back next month and change the dates on a daily basis.

Can I phone later on in that month and change the 3 days at once.
